Good experience overall, well located within Filton and nice rooms although bathroom could do with a modern shower rather than bathtub. Nice restaurant service and surprisingly good dinner menu, Fitness area and swimming pool were a plus, although you could feel right away that there was way too much product dosed in the swimming pool.

My team and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Filton for business, and the experience was good throughout. The hotel offers adequate facilities, a comfortable environment, and efficient service ideal for corporate travel. A special mention goes to Francesca, whose professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made a significant difference to my stay. Her customer service is truly second to none and reflects great credit on the Holiday Inn team. Highly recommended for business and group stays — we look forward to returning.

Had a night here for a work meeting next day. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the staff are here. From check in to the restaurant staff, everyone was lovely, professional and effective. The food in the restaurant was really good, I had beef wellington pie and some chocolate tart. Much nicer than what I was expecting from a hotel restaurant. This place a clearly well run with a strong team to look after their guests.

Really lovely stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I had the best nights sleep the only hotel I have stayed in that was as comfy was a Hilton! Great facilities, close to a big retail park with shops and restaurants. The hotel breakfast was great, and the evening menu was a large selection. Most importantly, the staff were all so kind and friendly, they could not do enough for you. Will be staying again when I next return for work.

Perfectly adequate. If I'd paid Ritz prices then 1 star but I didn't, I needed a base to keep my stuff in, sleep in and get breakfast from. The room was spotless, quiet, plenty warm enough (in fact too warm but I squarely blame my wife for that as she snuck the thermostat to Sahara setting) and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep on. Bed settee was uncomfortable but our daughter is only little so she laid on the duvet, rolled up like a taco and slept right through. Breakfast simple but perfectly fine, bacon was delicious and the best coffee I've had for a long time. Basically not a luxurious hotel by any means but it was the cheapest, I knew what to expect and it did exactly what it was supposed to.

You'll see no recent reviews for this hotel. It has been turned across to accommodation for 'refugees', though they all seemed to be Turkish, rather than from any war torn areas. Security on the door were arguing with locals who were filming the building. Probably best avoided.

Plus side. Clean sheets, nice coffee, good shower, pleasant and well presented staff. All staff taking good covid care. Down side. Tiny cramped rooms. Overstretched checking in system leading to long queues. Overpriced. Dated and tatty corridors. The first room we were given had no functional heating or aircon, happily this was quickly attended to by a room change. The room should not have been allocated. Stampede style breakfast. Not for me, I would not stay again.

The bedrooms were far too hot and the air conditioning was useless. The meal on Saturday night was not up to the expected standard. Re heated / burnt vegetables and not as stated on the pre ordered menu. Serving staff worked hard but were understaffed. All staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean. Felt Covid safe.

What a pleasant stay from start to finish. Lovely wide open grounds, plenty of car parking and a pleasant view from the room overlooking a small lake. Room decor ever so slightly dated but perfectly serviceable, very comfy bed and pillows. Air con that worked without being ridiculously loud. The shower pressure..... my goodness is was wonderful. Lovely wide staircase case and corridors. But physical features aside. A huge credit to the staff who managed to provide a full room service whilst their restaurant and reception underwent a full refurb. Some slight errors in food order but considering the pressure they must have been under during this time I think it can easily be excused. The Scottish lady on reception is customer service personified!!!! Genuinely empathetic, and warm with each and every guest being made to feel like the only one that day. An absoloute diamond that I would like to recommend for any internal reward scheme you may have. All in all a very pleasant experience at this hotel!!!!
