We went for a spa day here on New Year's Day and it was the best spa day we've ever had! The range of pools, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation areas was outstanding (we especially loved the outdoor whirlpool that you could swim to from inside the main pool hall, and the private hot tub accessible off one of the relaxation rooms); the food served as part of the lunch package was excellent quality; and the massages were out of this world, the hot stone all-body massage from Christy being the best I've ever had! My only negative comment is for some reason the spa doesn't allow you to select your lunch and treatment times via their website ... or should I say, they DO let you choose them, but they don't honour them – they say the treatment times are only finalised on the morning of the day itself ... meaning you could plan your day around arriving late, having a late lunch and having your treatments in the afternoon ... only to arrive and find your treatments were booked in for first thing (or you could quite conceivably miss them altogether if you didn't arrive early enough). We've never had this at a spa before (we've always been able to book lunch and treatment times in advance) and don't understand why they operate in this manner, especially as their website allows you to select specific times for both lunch and the treatments ... hopefully they remove this unnecessary limitation in the future, as it rather took the shine off the excitement leading up to the day. This aside, we still both left feeling the most relaxed and pampered we'd felt in a long time, and whenever we're next in the area we'll certainly be visiting again!

Went here with the family for a beautiful festive afternoon tea. It was an absolute pleasure to eat fine sandwiches, cakes and scones jam and clotted cream. The tea selection was superb. All served with great care from the professional staff. The room we were in was beautiful with period fittings. Tables set up lovely. Toilets super clean Disabled friendly. Parking was good too. The location and Boringdon hall are steeped in history. So if you looking at treeting yourself to a festive afternoon tea then this is the place.

We had a lovely last minute stay here for one night. Made full use of the impressive spa facilities. Stayed in one of their modern Well Ed’s rooms which was spacious and comfortable. Very good shower. V good mattress. Are in brasserie restaurant which we both enjoyed. Delicious breakfast after early morning spa.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Most Enchanting Hotel Experience of My Life From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew this hotel was something extraordinary. There’s a kind of magical atmosphere here: soft, golden light, a sense of calm in the air, and an almost storybook charm that wraps itself around you. It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like entering a world where everything has been designed to soothe, delight, and inspire. The spa is, without exaggeration, one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve ever seen. The serenity, the design, the way the light moves is absolutely unforgettable. The rooms are a masterclass in style: elegant, thoughtful, and comfortable. Every detail feels intentional, from the textures to the lighting to the quiet luxury. Food deserves its own standing ovation. Every dish felt like a little celebration. Rich, vibrant flavours, beautifully plated, and crafted with a great level of care. This place didn’t just give me a stay. It gave me a memory I’ll hold onto forever. In fact, I’ve joked (only half-joked) that when my time eventually comes, I’d be perfectly happy for my ashes to be scattered here, just so a part of me could linger in this slice of paradise forever. This hotel isn’t simply a destination; it’s an experience that stays with you long after you’ve left. This is my 11th stay at this unique hotel

One of the nicest stays away I've ever had. Staff are super attentive, facilities are extremely good. Room was nice with a nice courtyard view. The spa was incredible and even better with a nice glass of wine at the pool side. Top marks guys, will definitely come back.

Positive : Went to this beautiful resort for day spa with my husband. It's a beautifully located resort with amazing staff who are more than willing to answer all your queries. The spa facilities were wonderful and we specially enjoyed our services. Negative : Since it's a luxury resort the money they charge is also as such so it is not necessarily a negative but still something which may make one consider other day spa options as well.

Exceptional customer service, the best we have ever experienced. We travelled with an infant and the staff went over and beyond to accomodate us and make our stay comfortable. A magical place to stay over the festive season, and the spa was amazing! We stayed in a few rooms during our stay and highly recommend the four poster rooms and the royal suite that has the jacuzzi. We can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you for everything Borringdon staff!

A surprise stay booked for me from my sons for a birthday gift. The accommodation was fabulous, our room was Francis, a four poster bed, lots of space and a brilliant shower with beautiful Gaia Spa products available to use. The Spa was very cool with an outdoor area and hot tub and offered a great choice of different types of sauna and steam rooms and Jacuzzi. The pool was a good size to do some laps in too. This was open from 6am-10pm, how fabulous and great to do in the evening after having a day walking. The keep fit classes are really good to do, there was a varied timetable. I did yoga, fit ball and a weight class which were great and super friendly. The staff were efficient, helpful and very professional.
