“We hired the farmhouse for my 40th Birthday weekend and we all had the absolute best time. The house was pure luxury and the staff were super helpful and welcoming. The children had the time of their lives with the amazing play facilities, spa pool and animals. We will definitely be returning and I couldn't recommend Treworgey highly enough. Thank you so much for making this such a special weekend for us!”
“A lovely quiet getaway for couples. Peace, hot tub. Fully stocked (utensil, pans) kitchen for cooking etc spotlessly clean, it smelt lovely on arrival. Barbecue outside clean and ready to go. All round 5 star getaway for me an the missus.”
“Tor to Tor was an amazing 3 day and 4 night riding trip to the beautiful Dartmoor national park. The staff was so welcoming and everyone was so giddy about this trip. We were all experienced riders and it was so easy to find friend from our group. The horses were lovely to ride and the matches between horses and riders were well thought of. We did a lot of speedy canters an relaxed walks. The food was great and it was all so well organized. Travelling to Dartmoor was easy by train from Heathrow airport. You should absolutely go and see Dartmoor with Liberty Trails!”
“When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and layout of pod, just right for what we booked for to get away for the peace and quietness. Views were superb. Also a lovely touch with the cream tea left for us on arrival. Five stars all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Desra and Grant”
“4 night stay here, the lodge was spotless, had everything we could possibly need. Nice flat walk to a beautiful beach. The pool was also perfect. And the owners couldn’t have done enough.”
“This was our first time in England and we had a great time. The Manor Lodge Guest house was great. It had everything we needed and it is located right in Millbrook close the the shops. Lady Megan was very friendly and helpful and very accommodating.”
“The perfect stop off for a coffee, decent meal/breakfast and visit to the toilet! Beats your average motorway service station 100%. Don’t mistake the petrol station/spa for the actual motel facilities. Keep driving down following signs to the motel. There is a super cool bar/cafe to the left of the lodge. Food and coffee awesome, lovely service and ambience.”
“Booked a single room with shared bathroom as I was only there for one evening. The host was really friendly and helpful, offering to let me park my motorcycle in his backyard. The room was clean and comfortable and simple and the breakfast was lovely. My 2nd time staying at The Firs and will.be back again.”
“We have just had the most phenomenal stay at The Grosvenor Hotel and would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff for being very friendly and making us feel most welcome. We tend to travel a fair bit throughout the year having a couple of nights away here and there so having a hotel that feels fresh and spacious just as The Grosvenor is is appreciated. More importantly Room 33 which we were allocated was spotless, comfortable and very pleasant. We only stayed for two nights however the bed was very comfortable and each night we slept well. The shower is powerful and there seems an endless supply of hot water. In addition to this we were offered a parking space to the rear of the hotel which was invaluable to our stay. Location wise, having the lighthouse and The Hoe at the top of the road was ideal. The Barbican is a mere 10 minute walk from the hotel which is where we spent our time enjoying countless bars and great places to eat. We found multiple staff members pleasant and helpful and we just wanted to say a massive thank you and to wish you all a very merry Christmas. Undoubtedly we would stay here again.”
“Rooms are clean and cosy. Well equipped kitchen for everyone to use. Self check-in and self check-out. Service was very well and you can call them anytime. Storage room for bags available 24h. Maybe not the best neighbour but for this money you simply can expect more.”
“Great location for the Barbican, free parking was a must for us. Room small but very nice and equipped. Highly recommend...”
“Had a Carvery there today, it was so tasty. I haven't been there since before lockdown and it's even tastier now. They had x2 meats on, which is ok for me but I know some prefer more choice. Staff were very cheery and pleasant. Definitely worth the trip from Plymouth.”
“Nice clean and hotel quiet hotel room. Very helpful and friendly staff, would be nice if the hotel management put a tip jar for the bar staff etc, paid £104 for the night booked directly, could have paid £90 if booked through a website, would have been nice to pay the lower rate as I was booking direct so no middle men etc. All in all a great hotel and well located with decent staff and customer service, will certainly visit again.”
“Great hotel, central location to where we needed to be and a really good price, the breakfast was brilliant and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and airy too. The only downside was the lack of parking but they do have an agreement with a car park £10 for 24hr parking but it's not made clear until after you check in at the desk.”
“Probably the comfiest bed I've ever had in a hotel. Front desk staff were really welcoming and helpful. Car parking was easy. Breakfast really good and plenty of options. Room faced onto a main road but had the window open all night and slept right through, no noise. Great location for walkable access into town and bus services.”
“Went there for one night, room and bed were comfortable and the breakfast area had a wonderful view of the city. Staff were able to serve me something that wasn't on the buffet when I requested it. Was able to go swimming and enjoy the sauna and steam room that came with it. Would love to stay here again”
“Me and my husband recently spent a few nights at this premier inn, located right next to the beefeater restaurant. We were greeted on reception by a lovely lady named Cassidy. She made us feel really welcome which was wonderful. The room was clean and in a nice quiet area of Plymouth. My only downfall would be that it is a bit far from the city centre, however it was no trouble for Cassidy to call us a local taxi. We enjoyed our breakfast too and even popped into the beefeater restaurant next door one evening for a lovely steak- cooked to absolute perfection. I would also like to thank the staff there, as the service was great. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family, as it is reasonably priced and good value for money, friendly faces and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Thanks, Barbara and Paul.”
“My family and I stayed here recently, we were impressed by the cleanliness and WiFi (which in hotels can often be dodgy!). In particular, we were impressed by Olly, who was knowledgeable and friendly, it was really appreciated by my family who drove for ages down to Plymouth. Thank you for your great service”
“Location perfect for parents of graduating students as very close to Guildhall and St Andrews. Also a nice walk up to the hoe and around Barbican. Meal deal very good value. We had burgers and fish and chips both decent. Communal areas have seen better days but rooms clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast is as expected for this chain. Staff lovely - Lily Nicola and Justina very welcoming and friendly”
“The room was set up perfectly, there was a nice cooler for the drinks, iron board, iron, hangers, everything was perfect. Specially the one who did our room, JoJo did a fantastic job. The service was brilliant and everything was accompanied to our needs. Finally, the location was awesome, walkable distance to the shops, attractions, city centre, train station and most importantly the pubs. Would go again.”
“Awesome!!! Loved it. Will definitely be going back.”
“A wonderful place to relax, greenery and silence all around.”
“Stunning looking building with a chimney that must be seen”
“Osborne house, lovely apartment on the hoe, big rooms, nice furniture and great décor , would highly recommend”
“Very accommodating for 2 adults and 2 dogs totally dog friendly. Staff were brilliant, couldn't fault our stay. Would definitely use them again”
“Set on the outskirts of Plymouth the location is quiet, pleasant but on main routes into the city or out to Dartmoor. The room was clean fresh smelling and comfortable the bathroom was very small but functional. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and with a 24 hour reception our after midnight check in was not an issue. The other bonus was the Toby carvery on the same site where we were able to book a nice breakfast.”
