I noticed an improvement in my back quite quickly; the knees are taking longer. Mo gives a welcoming reception with supportive advice and the charges are very reasonable. I also swim at TLC and really value this local community asset.”

“A great gym with great facilities and staff. Particularly James Foulk one of the tennis coaches who has helped me with my game. “I use the pool at least once a week, and it is always busy. You either need to book in advance or get lucky with a quieter session. The changing facilities are unisex, with separate cubicles to change in. You can either get a locker using change or park your bag by the pool. The viewing area is good if you have kids swimming or you are waiting to swim.”

“One of my absolute favourite places to be! Run by lovely people who strive to create a welcoming, supportive and inclusive community. The lake is simply beautiful; always a sheer joy to swim there in nature. I don’t often sauna but when I have it’s been bliss! Can’t recommend this gorgeous venue and team enough.”

“I would highly recommend East Midlands Swim Academy, my daughter has been swimming with them for 3 years and has shown fantastic progress. All of the teachers are friendly and professional, and with relatively small group sizes are really able to focus on each child and adapt to their individual needs. What really stands out for me is it’s not just about how far you can swim, but more the technique that is used. The pools are very well maintained and extremely clean.”

“It was such a lovely place! I visited Grantham for the very first time. Small quiet city I must say. I decided to visit the park, maybe a wakk to look around. I was impressed by how neat the park was, very well kept. The mapping, the walk ways. There was the beautiful stream with what looked like staircase waterfall thing. The scene and the sound was very relaxing. The children playground was fun too. Lots of play options, I found myself on the “rollercoaster" rolling and laughing like a kid, I visited some of the courts; table tennis, lawn tennis, football pitch, older children playground, bowling side. The outdoor gym was spacious and easy to use. There were so many sit outs and corners for photoshoots, picnics, had me imagining what summer would look like. There was this boat riding place, not sure what it was as we met it closed but it looked interesting. Lots of people were walking there dogs and I paid particular attention to a lady who picked up her dog’s dung as soon as it did the poo, it made me appreciate the neatness culture. Ofcourse there were bins on all corners so it seems pretty easy to keep up with good sanitation. I will definitely visit again if I find myself in Grantham sometime in the future. “Good big park to roam around on with a running track and a kids play park they also have a small pond to sit by. And there is also a big leisure center with a big swimming pool with a gym inside. There is also a big car park which is free to park at.”

“This is a wonderful community leisure centre. The staff are extremely helpful, supportive and welcoming. Krishna's Yoga classes on a Wednesday and Thursday are very inspiring, calming and great for all levels. She has been a beautiful part of my yoga journey. It's a really positive, supportive place for the community and I always feel great after every visit.”

“I attended the gym frequently until recently and I really enjoyed it. Family members go regularly and I’m starting my membership again. They have all different classes for different fitness levels. Swimming included and other activities just ask when signing up as the staff have always been pretty friendly and helpful. If you have any disabilities or struggle with physical fitness/injuries the staff have certain programs to accommodate this and are really attentive to your individual needs. Have always been very helpful with myself.”

“I hadn’t been to a gym in years and was a bit worried about going again and not knowing what I was doing. The staff here have all been lovely and incredibly helpful and kind. Kyle took the time to show me how everything worked and set up an app for me to help me plan my workouts during my free new member activation. There are videos to show you how to use the machines correctly if you forget. The app also shows you how many machines are free so you can kind of see how busy it is before you head there. I can’t recommend this place enough. You really do get a lot for your membership fee. The free one day pass is really helpful if you want to just have a look and see what it’s like before committing to a membership, too. Just wish they were open a bit later at the weekend but I understand that people need a break sometimes and the weekend is a good time for the staff to finish earlier.”

“Great fun kids pool with lovely flume, small slides and lots of bubbling fountains. Adult pool lovely and warm, very clean and lifeguards are super helpful. Whole place including changing rooms very modern and well kept. Always super clean in all areas. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.”
