I love this area, it's a great place for a steady walk or Ideal for a run if you feel more active... It leads onto Beeston Marina which is a good place to head to... There's lots of wildlife to Keep you interested... Make sure you have decent footwear as certain areas can become waterlogged... There's a small charge in the carpark... It's a beautiful area to visit and well worth the visit...

Lovely visit to the nature reserve, great cafe and a beautiful walk. And if you like trains a bit of the reserve is next to a busy track with lots of engines to spot! A great day out with no admission to pay, just the car park, highly recommended.

Great location for a stroll, the day I visited had clear reflections of all the beautiful clouds in the water. Shortest walk around the reserve is 1.9 miles. It was busy with people at least every 10m and cyclists on the paths but that's to be expected for a Sunday. The center had cool socks and a lot of wildlife observing kit, like binoculars and camera tripods etc. There is plenty of seating available around the paths, several bird watching hides and lots of signage explaining various bird related factoids. Overall a great and pleasant experience.

Very well cared for. Lovely food, a lot to see and reasonably prices parking and cafe. I only had a short walk around but I saw plenty of very happy animals and plants. If you enjoy nature it's worth a visit.

A few minutes from the motorway, reasonably priced parking. Lovely cafe and a number of picnic tables. Several walks with differing lengths. The paths we followed were reasonably made-up and accessible.

Lovely place to visit, walk and relax. Usually cycle through Attenborough Nature Reserve during my bike rides and some lovely stops where you can have refreshments. ANPR parking (Β£3 all day I seem to recall).

So many fabulous nature trails. Great lookouts and hides to watch wildlife from. Make the walk as long or as short as you like. Take in Attenborough village or walk to Trent Lock! Highly recommended. Nice cafe and gift shop.

Wonderful nature reserve. Several different trails to follow, with hides and screens for bird watching. Excellent cafe and shop. Good information available. Car park has vehicle recognition, first 30 mins free, if staying longer you pop your registration number into the touch screen pay meter before you leave and pay Β£3 cash or card.

Another excellent location to visit in Nottingham, albeit being far away from town centre. Travelling here is easiest by car or train, bus and tram are possible but will require a further 20/30minutes walk to the reserve. The reserve itself is stunning and has many routes for people to take

Itβs a beautiful place to visit with so many different kinds of birds and animals. There are lot of footpaths to do a nice hike. Itβs very well maintained. I imagine it would be a lot more beautiful place in spring with different kind of flowers and trees coming back to life.
