Lovely park to explore with many surfaced walking paths. There are a number of lakes and paths through woodland which looks stunning in Autumn with all the colours. It is a great location to walk dogs and is easy to reach by public transport as a short distance from Nottingham City Centre. There are several car parks, and also a playground.

Lovely walk through woods round the lake. Easy walking on good path mostly in shade and all on a level. Good for all ages and dogs. Car park is a bit rough though. Also shame the area near adventure centre is not better maintained. Looks very dilapidated. There is a good coffee van there though..

Amazing place to go for a walk with the family and to take the dogs out for a walk loads of big ponds to sit at and relax and amazing scenery with some wood and loads of park benches near the water also a information center( a container) which you can get some information about the park while you are there also there are two car parks available for the public ( not sure if you need to pay for one of them) there are also some information boards about the fish in the lakes which you can fish at( with a licence of course) with pictures and facts about fish. But overall the place is amazing and filled with nature.

Feeling that the air is very very fresh. You can feed the ducks in the pond, and you can walk through the forest route, sometimes the ducks will follow you as you go away as well! But it is just too long way from London. It's at least a hundred miles away which takes at least four and a half hours long! There is a park around. It is not big but nor small. I'm quite happy that some of the ducks can fly and catch the breads, some of them are enormous and some of them are small and cute.

An oasis of calm on the outskirts of Nottingham. Lovely lake and country walks, set next to the River Trent. Plenty of bird life and wildlife including black swans , kingfisher and woodpeckers to name but a few. Also though kids play park, free car park, toilets, visitor hut, ice creams and wide open spaces, so plenty for family and nature lovers to enjoy.

Nice place for taking all your family out. 2 playgrounds, football pitches, basketball. In summer season you can rent a boat, do climbing, archery for kids. Good place to walk your dog.
