“I am brand new at Village. Bailey offered me a free 12 week program and wow has he got me motivated. He is very knowledgeable on diet aswel as exercise and even suggested some alternative snacks for me, as I am terrible snacker. I think he is just amazing, enthusiastic, professional and a wonderful motivator. He even convinced me to attend his boxercise class. I couldn't believe I loved it. I think Bailey is a super trainer and he has a lovely friendly manner. He has made me feel uninhibited to do and try everything at Village. I cannot thank him enough.”

“I recently discovered the Nuffield Health Centre in Hull and was amazed that such a great facility was right here. The gym is well equipped, the swimming pool is clean and perfect for both exercise and relaxation, and the tennis courts are a brilliant bonus. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I honestly didn’t know this place existed in Hull – it really feels like a hidden gem for health and fitness. “Free and fun. A child friendly place next to the toilet block and beach shop. A carved water feature is the centrepiece of this easily accessible paddling pool. The pool has a long sloping entrance and exit. The "deep" end is about knee high on most adults. The area around the water is made of well maintained wooden decking. There are a few areas to sit around the pool.”

“We love this place. There's a normal large rectangular pool which gets deeper at one end in the usual way. Then there's a more shallow pool for children at one depth. Then there's a very shallow play area with tipping buckets, water squirters and a small tube slide, it also has seats under the water with bubble jets. Then there's two bigger tube slides accessible up a spiral staircase. It's really great, perfect for families. Make sure to book tickets though because it can get full.”

“Pickering Park is a wonderful place to visit with family and dogs. Its lush greenery makes it a perfect spot to relax. The park features walking paths, ponds, bird-watching areas, playgrounds, and open spaces. It’s great for children, too, with so many birds to see. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll find that opportunity here as well.”

“Had my sons 6th Birthday Party here & it was brilliant. We were deligated a member of staff who oversaw the party, topped up drinks for the children, offered to do party games, very attentive. Hall size was amazing, lots of space and soft play equipment, bouncy castle was huge. Staff grouped the children together at the end of the party for a photo. Food room is a good size with plenty of selection. The chicken nuggets being the children and adults favourite. They even added chocolate bars and a free swim pass into the party bags. They even gave my son a personal birthday card which was a lovely touch with a family swim pass on the back. Overall worth the money. My only issue would be that I was only given 10 minutes before the party started to get decorations, party bags, cake etc set up & some parents had already arrived for the party. Would book again and recommend to other parents! Thank you for making my sons birthday party a memorable one!”

“Brilliant pool, go as many times as I can to Aqua fit and I love it, the staff are great, Mike is an amazing instructor with his sidekick lifeguard Mason, the whole lesson is great fun and you don't feel like you're exercising, would highly recommend.”

“Decent amount of car parking available. I visited East Riding Leisure Beverly to attend an event that was hosted in one of their conference rooms. The catering was good. Finding the conference room was easy. Staff were friendly. I also noticed it’s wheelchair friendly. Lots of green spaces outdoor for fresh air when you need it.”

“A very good swimming pool and the best pool by far in North Lincolnshire. A huge area to swim in for the adult swim. Not that busy, so a whole lane to myself. Bright and clean, and a very good changing village. Only point for improvement would be to have more power in the showers. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.”

“These swimming baths are so old and quaint. They have no trouble (unlike ennerdale and woodford the modern ones in hull). All staff very good and kept lively and clean.”

“Although this facility is getting in a bit, over 40 years old, it's still well maintained and fresh. The changing area was clean and the showers were excellent. The staff were friendly. This was my first visit in over 8 years and I wasn't disappointed. Unfortunately the small pool is currently out of action”
