“I have received auricular acupuncture and shockwave therapy, plus laser for healing of wounds, and have been amazed by the results, particularly with the auricular acupuncture for a more holistic approach to managing ADHD, severe pain, migraine attacks, and sickness. All of which have undoubtedly been nothing short of remarkable in totally, and unexpectedly, based on what I was expecting- it totally exceeded any expectations I had about how effective this would be. So would definitely recommend.”

“I am brand new at Village. Bailey offered me a free 12 week program and wow has he got me motivated. He is very knowledgeable on diet aswel as exercise and even suggested some alternative snacks for me, as I am terrible snacker. I think he is just amazing, enthusiastic, professional and a wonderful motivator. He even convinced me to attend his boxercise class. I couldn't believe I loved it. I think Bailey is a super trainer and he has a lovely friendly manner. He has made me feel uninhibited to do and try everything at Village. I cannot thank him enough.”

I had a hot stone massage and it was honestly the best massage ever — deeply relaxing, tension-relieving and left me feeling so peaceful afterwards. The waxing was also brilliant — much less painful than I’ve experienced elsewhere and carried out with real skill and care. Highly recommend!”

“I will be honest with you, if I was looking for a relaxing spa day or two I wouldn't emediately look to Scunthorpe as my location destination of choice. But here we landed. This place is off of a main road and then off of a minor road and you then turn off of that to arrive at Sawcliffe Manor, we stayed in the rose cottage. Its beautiful and full of quaint English farm house charm. Everything is clean and fully equipped to be home from home, that is if your house has a Aga creating the cosiest of kitchens. Then we get to use the spa, this is pure luxury wonderful products to cleanse and refresh every part of you. We had a 10 month old baby with us, he loved all the water play and swinging seats as well as the baby massage lotions. We took loads of photos of all three of us smiling from ear to ear but as we are a foster family so can't share photos on any social platforms. This was a lovely place to spend a day or two”

“Best barbers and tattooists in Scunthorpe. This is more than just a place to get your hair cut - the whole place is awesome, the decor, pool table, games machine, vending machines, coffee / free beer for clients, clothing and products for sale and amazing staff who will make you laugh, take good care of you and offer quality services. Really love this place. Great music too, and the option to play your own tunes or borrow a tablet and headphones to keep you entertained whilst you get your tattoo done. Talented bunch, fantastic place - so proud to have something like this in Scunthorpe.”

“I recently discovered the Nuffield Health Centre in Hull and was amazed that such a great facility was right here. The gym is well equipped, the swimming pool is clean and perfect for both exercise and relaxation, and the tennis courts are a brilliant bonus. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I honestly didn’t know this place existed in Hull – it really feels like a hidden gem for health and fitness. Highly recommended!”

“Had my nails done and eye lashes tinted. Always made to feel welcome and love the pampering. Also had dolly lashes and eyebrow tint last month absolutely loved them both. Never had them done before so was quite nervous but nothing to worry about. Staff really friendly nothing to much trouble.”

“From the first phone call with Andrew who catered for my requests upon this visist. I Stayed here whilst on a driving course.... The staff were lovely. Special shout out for Lindsey at Breakfast who was very warm and welcoming every morning, even at 630!. Also the young lady on the leisure centre desk who remembered me and my room number even after one visit. Too employees who just go that extra bit to make guests feel welcome. Food was lovely with a great atmosphere. Well done Village Hull....”

“The review is only for Swimming academy! My daughter joined swimming classes with Lucy Chrost when she was three, and she now moved level up as she turned 4. We absolutely love every lesson with Lucy! She always finds energy to deal with kids with a smile, makes lessons fun, interactive, inclusive. I was amazed witnessing her, there was one day when she was In the middle of explaining the next exercise to the kids and one of the students was messing about and put arm bands on his feet. She stopped almost mid sentence and immediately turned over to the kid and explained why it is unsafe to do that. Because it was a safety thing. I was amazed! Very grateful and happy to be part for team splosh!”

“Relocated and worried about a new hairdresser cutting my curly hair. No need to worry Rick in the guise of "Edward Scissorhands" set about cutting my hair. I truly have not experienced this before. He turned my drab hairstyle into a chic 1970s vibe and I have not need my curls looking like this ever. Rick is laid back, confident and super creative - you just need to sit back and trust him. Particularly for those of you with curls I cannot recommend him highly enough. We should be proud that here in our region we have an award winning superstar and we need to celebrate that.”

“We love this place. There's a normal large rectangular pool which gets deeper at one end in the usual way. Then there's a more shallow pool for children at one depth. Then there's a very shallow play area with tipping buckets, water squirters and a small tube slide, it also has seats under the water with bubble jets. Then there's two bigger tube slides accessible up a spiral staircase. It's really great, perfect for families. Make sure to book tickets though because it can get full.”

“Fantastic gym, great facilities and friendly staff. Special mention to a guy called Ryan who's usually in the changing rooms making sure all the guys are ok. He even offered to spot me in the shower, I'm not sure what that means tbh.”

“I have intimate bikini waxing done (Hollywood) by Amanda. I was a little anxious when I first started going to see her, but from day one she was so professional. It’s not the most comfortable of procedures to have done and a little embarrassing too, but she explained everything that was going to happen and has a very natural way of making you feel at ease. She does an excellent job, I would recommend her to anyone who may be considering having intimate waxing done, I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else now.”

“Absolutely, fantastic time had by us all. Firstly we was met by the lovely receptionist who was friendly, approachable and a lovely smile to greet us. We arrived at 4.30pm and left at 7pm. The slides, wave pool and especially the outdoor pool were great fun!!! My nephews and I had the best time. Great offer on at the moment too. £10 an adult £7.50 per child, a bargain. We came away full of smiles. A school night like no other. We will certainly be back again next year.”
