Having struggled with my reduced ability over the past week years. I always loved to swim as my main exercise. However, in May 2026 I was recommended to the Nuffield in Hull, actually while I was on my holidays. I joined them for the pain management sessions with Lauren twice a week, this was in a small friendly group session. Best of all, you could qualify for a free* membership to help you gain improved mobility and confidence too. I have now regained confidence in trying more exercises in the gym and exerciseclasses. I've even had a one to one session with a personal trainer. If ,you are struggling with your own mobility and lack the confidence to improve your mobility ? There is no better place than here. They are always friendly and welcoming. Anyway I'm just driving over the Humber bridge now for my swim (the pool is lovely and warm) Wendy.

A great fitness and wellbeing centre with great facilities, classes and staff. I've been going to Nuffield Hull for approximately 6 months and have fallen in love with exercising all over again. It honestly feels like one big family and the staff genuinely make you feel like you and your health journey matter. A special shout-out to Lauren who is an absolute asset to Nuffield. She went above and beyond in our group pain management classes tailoring exercises to accommodate individual needs and providing extra advice to assist with managing symptoms at home, from exercising and mindfulness right through to nutrition. Nuffield is large enough to have everything you need out of a fitness centre yet small enough to feel intimate. Gyms can be intimidating places if youre new to your fitness journey but Nuffield ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended *****

The best fitness centre around for sure! It is truly a 'well being centre' whereby you are encouraged to track your progress. Its very friendly, and the staff are fabulous. There are plenty of classes to attend and there's even indoor tennis courts on site. The pool is wonderful too. I have been a member of other gyms in the past, but they simply cannot compete. Its MY gym!!!

I have been a member at Nuffield Health (Hull) for nearly 2 years now. I am very happy there. The staff are friendly, and welcoming at the door and there are many classes to try out, which I have. You are always consulted on how you are and if you have any particular issues that the teacher needs to be aware of. Yesterday I attended an Aqua class. The teacher was excellent. She gave an alternative exercise when necessary also she stopped the music a couple of times to explain what she wanted so we could hear and respond.

I recently discovered the Nuffield Health Centre in Hull and was amazed that such a great facility was right here. The gym is well equipped, the swimming pool is clean and perfect for both exercise and relaxation, and the tennis courts are a brilliant bonus. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I honestly didn’t know this place existed in Hull – it really feels like a hidden gem for health and fitness. Highly recommended!

Poor equipment, machines broken for months at a time, and now the Jacuzzi not working, and was told it won’t be fixed, over heard the manager laughing saying about the money they save it will be great, we’ll sorry it isn’t great, I pay premium prices each month same as the other 1000 members at hull and expect premium service and facilities, so Nuffield Health if your not going to keep your contracted promises to you members, surely that’s breach of contract and any member can leave without penalty’s, or Nuffield Health reduces member fees each month, due to not being able to fore fill full facility obligations, like other sites !

This place ticks all my boxes. Friendly staff Excellent facilities Great timings All the classes you can think of Enough space Fantastic parking A Costa cafe Not only all that, but they’re relatively cheap and I don’t feel uncomfortable working out as there are no ‘posers’ here. It’s all about health & fitness

Visited to play a tennis match and thought the facilities were excellent. Court colours could be better - the baseline blended with the light grey court surround which made seeing the baseline difficult and the led lighting at the sides of the court was bright making it difficult to see the ball when the light was behind it. Biggest concern was the noise from the coaching staff who were coaching a children's session on one bank of courts. Impossible to hear people on our court many metres away!

Can I give it no stars. Equipment was old and in poor condition and there was not a wide range. The pool was roped off for lessons most of the time so there was no room for doing lengths. The changing rooms where poorly laid out and the locks didn't work a lot of the time. It's not open 24 hours. Doesn't open until 8 on weekend.its not even cheap. I was locked into a contract for year. I'd go to a better gym. The only good thing I can say about it is that it's that bad the gym is normally fairly quiet. Also the tennis is ridiculously expensive even for members.
