“Always such amazing work from Sophia Rose at Angry Badger. I knew I wanted a rose because she does them so well. For my other tattoo I really wasn’t sure what I wanted and sent her lots of very different images with lots of different things, and told her the vibe I wanted and she absolutely nailed it and was so understanding and helpful with what would look good. Her fine line detail is incredible too. And she’s just lovely which makes for a great experience! A really great shop overall and all the artists seemed really nice too with some awesome looking work on the walls. Highly recommend.”

“At the age of 59, following a divorce and a move from the Vale of the White Horse to Yorkshire I decided I would celebrate my next chapter and get my first tattoo. Leon was the artist who carried out the work. I cannot over empathise the diligence, skill and artistry that Leon has carried out exactly what I had hoped for. Further more, I was made to feel welcomed, every step of the process was explained, with a huge amount of patience. I cannot recommend this parlour and in particular Leon enough. I also watched one of Leon's colleagues carry out work on another customer and the care and skill was again, obvious. “I've been tattooed twice now by Jamie and I'm very happy with his work. My first tattoo in particular with Jamie was already a special one, getting a matching Motorhead tattoo with my Mum. He made it even more so, playing their music in the studio whilst he did his thing. I am very appreciative of that and is now a memory me and my Mum will have forever. The second tattoo was a personal one, that I'd asked for his creative vision on. He did not disappoint and I left with yet another great piece of art on my skin. Overall, all the staff at this studio are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is great and everyone is very good at their jobs. They definitely smashed preconceptions I'd had about tattoo studios being intimidating or overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend them, especially Jamie, and I will definitely be back again.”

I've found it hard to stick with tattooists, whether it's to do with their work or their professionalism, but definitely found my place at Crow and butterfly. Had my knee tattooed yesterday, and matty was patient and quick creating my favourite tattoo to date. I cant wait to get back in the chair and share ideas of what to create next!”

This is more than just a place to get your hair cut - the whole place is awesome, the decor, pool table, games machine, vending machines, coffee / free beer for clients, clothing and products for sale and amazing staff who will make you laugh, take good care of you and offer quality services. Really love this place. Great music too, and the option to play your own tunes or borrow a tablet and headphones to keep you entertained whilst you get your tattoo done. Talented bunch, fantastic place - so proud to have something like this in Scunthorpe.”
