   Absolutely Appalling, I had a cover up, The tattoo is not symmetrical, lines going through clear parts were there not supposed to be. Talks about how good of a tattooist he is, he is really not, I have had to go elsewhere to get this tattoo sorted out, Matthew did offer to sort it out, but to me honest I didn’t want him to do any thing else on my body, Do your research first, there is Better tattooist out there and cheaper. Tattooist who is rectifying it said how bad and appalling it actually is. Look very closely at the pictures, you will see it’s not symmetrical, right side is different to the left, an odd lines going through were he has messed up by not concentrating, to busy watching the TV. Goes to deep with his needles and causes extreme scabbing, He does not know what he is doing. As for the reply, considering how bad it was I didn’t want you to rectify it and make it worse than it already is. Regardless of the cover up been finished or not, there was lines going through were they should not have, you are the worst tattooist I have ever come across, the tattooist who is re-vamping the tattoo said it’s one of the worst he has seen, Trust me, stay away from this tattooist

   Do not use this tattooist if you want a custom design! He is only good at tracing!! I asked for a japanese wind sleeve and sent him the design I wanted. When I arrived he hadn't prepped and had to ask me what it was that I wanted even tho I'd sent him the details! He then tried to draw the design free hand with pens and when that didnt work asked if he could just do the design free hand. Rather than use a single liner he used a 9 round to do the outlines. When he was finished I wasn't really sure about what he had done but he kept telling me it would look better once it was done. After each session there was absolutely no improvement and I had to raise my concerns and he just kept saying it will look great when it's done. Finally I had enough and raised the issues about the complete difference to what I wanted and why when I had raised points I didnt like he hadn't done anything to change them. He then went on a rant about why I didn't say any of this before and then blocked me. Please do not use this tattooist he overworks areas and runs his needles too deep, my arm is covered in scars and got infected which he denies even tho i work in a hospital and had nurses telling me it was infected. I've attached what I wanted compared to what he did! You can judge the difference yourself. He will do his usual trick I've noticed and say I was happy with it but I really wasn't at any stage.

   Been getting tattooed for over a year at this studio. Matt is caring, friendly and passionate about his job, and this definitely shows through his work. I've found it hard to stick with tattooists, whether it's to do with their work or their professionalism, but definitely found my place at Crow and butterfly. Had my knee tattooed yesterday, and matty was patient and quick creating my favourite tattoo to date. I cant wait to get back in the chair and share ideas of what to create next!

   Booked in for more work. Was made to feel welcome and at ease from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. His art work is incredible and he uses high quality products and inks and even walked me through ways to protect my tattoo so it heals perfectly. Loyalty card, aftercare products, online booking systems all things I've never had offered before with any tattoo I've had. Can't wait for my next appointment.

   1st tattoo with crow and butterfly today, already planning my second. Good value, professional, friendly and a clean studio. Update: 3rd tattoo now with Matthew, going back shortly to get my hand done. Latest tat is amazing and Matt is top bloke. Can't recommend enough!

   Had a memorial tattoo done with my mums ashes. Matt was great, he was super helpful, sympathetic to my loss and understood what I was looking for. The tattoo is amazing and healed really well. I will definitely be going back for another tattoo in the future. Matt, you rock!

   Love Love Love my tattoo. As all of my friends know I have a slight obsession with anything Disney. This tattoo represents that perfectly but also incorporates my family as a whole unit. Me and Hubby are Minnie & Mickey and our 3 girls are the stars, love is what we have. I would highly recommend Crow & Butterfly. The tattooist is a very skilled and very talented artist who can create bespoke designs for anyone. He has also designed tattoos for my sister and 2 brother in laws.
