“This was my first tattoo David made me feel comfortable and at ease , he spent time showing me different designs of the way my tattoo could look . I saw his work on Facebook and decided that I didnt want anyone else to do my tattoo. His studio is clean and very hygienic . He spoke away while doing my tattoo and that made me feel at ease. I would 100% recommend David to do your tattoo.”

“I am absolutely in love with my tattoo by Thais. She was super warm, friendly and professional. She took her time with me making me feel comfortable, offering sugary sweets and talking me through the process when I explained I was a little nervous and not used to tattoos (was my first in almost 20 years!) This tattoo has been 10 years in the making for me, to mark a special memory of my late Granda and Thais has executed it perfectly. A really cool studio, everyone was friendly, singing along to the playlist and chatting amongst themselves. Really made me feel at ease ☺️”

“I was looking for a place for my first tattoo in Edinburgh and came across Semper and Joanne. So glad I did, such a great experience and I am so happy with the final result. From the first contact by email, Anna was super helpful, friendly and responsive; to Joanne taking some her concepts to create an abstract design which is amazing and I love. Joanne showed me lots of ideas she had, and loads she created for me. She combined lots of these ideas and used brush strokes directly on my skin which was super cool. She is massively talented and I’m looking forward to getting another tattoo from her. She even gave me a load of the designs to take home, which I plan to frame. Aftercare advice was good and detailed. The studio is very clean, friendly, and looking around it looks like they have lots of talented artists. If you are looking for your first tattoo, or more tattoos I’d fully recommend Semper and Joanne.”
