This has changed hands and is no longer the Redemption Ink. It's now called The Inky Way and owned by a very lovely girl called Emma. Her work and dedication is amazing and if anyone is thinking about getting inked then I'd recommend going and having a chat with Emma, Her ideas are beyond this world.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Booked in here with Lottie who is an apprentice and super lovely. I’d chosen one of her designs from her Instagram page to get tattooed on my arm. I already have several tattoos but this was my first time being tattooed by an apprentice and honestly she did a better job than some of the tattooists I’ve had in the past. Another artist was on hand to help her out and check her work etc at the end but she didn’t need much help and she was very professional and definitely an up and coming talent on the Edinburgh tattoo scene. I’m already eyeing up her other designs and planning to book in again when my schedule allows. In terms of the shop itself- it’s lovely and clean and everything was sterile. Definitely know their stuff and take pride in it. A lovely tattoo experience overall. Thanks again
Amazing Tommy Carrion, great tattoo artist, great person. I've got already 5 tattooes with him. One of my favourites in edinburgh, for me one of the bests too. Don't miss it!!

Great atmosphere and super chill
Met Tommy for a consultation, gave him some rough ideas and asked him to come up with something. Really impressed what he came back to me with, and even more impressed with the finished work. Super relaxed and collaborative experience. Also enjoyed the half day in the studio getting the work done / listening to music. Going back asap.
