Lovely little tattoo shop. The staff are very friendly, responsive, and welcoming, which can be traits that some tattoo shops lack entirely. Very kind people that felt easy to talk to. I stopped in for a flash tattoo piece with Sophie who did a fantastic job and gave good and well informed input on the tattoo I had done. I left with a very positive feeling and a piece of art on my body that I'm proud to show off. When i visit Edinburgh again I'll be stopping off for a bigger piece for sure.

Highly recommended tattoo studio. I took my time looking for an artist I could entrust to realise my idea for a large leg piece. From the first moment of the consultation Dominika oozed competence and listening skills. On the day of the tattoo she worked fast and with incredible detail from one end of the design to the other. This approach was a kindness to my skin. The result is excellent. Thank you!
Unlike other tattoo parlours I have been to, Holy Skull was an amazing little shop. I much preferred this shop as my last couple of tattoos were done in a shop with about 10 people being tattooed at the same time resulting in it being very noisey with a lot going on but it was not like that here at Holy Skull. It was nice and relaxed, not too loud and you could enjoy a conversation while enduring the painfullness of the tattoo gun. I needed a cover-up for a big tattoo I had done at 17. After about 10 years of trying to get it covered up without lasers I found Dominika who knew just the way to sort it out. I arrived at 10am to get started, met with Dominika, got sized up and was ready to go. After a whole days sitting, I was finally done with probably my favourite tattoo yet. The detail she put into the artwork is amazing and the more I look at it, the more I fall in love with it! I would highly recommend going to Holy Skull for a tattoo and if you're in need of a cover-up, have a wee chat with Dominika and see what she can do for you; I promise you will definitely not leave disappointed!
