“Just got back from having my first tattoo that I entrusted to Bubblegum Ink with Paul and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As it was my first time I was really nervous but Paul explained everything clearly and made me feel totally at ease. He was super respectful with my uncles ashes and produced a great design to for me to honour his memory. Paul is super friendly, highly talented, and a genuinely top bloke – can’t recommend him enough!”

“I had an old tattoo that was very crude/basic and lacked definition and shading and never felt happy with my grandchildren initials just randomly thrown on. Ela was great came up with suggestions of a flower to represent each child's birth month rather than initials or names. She redesigned the old tattoo, giving colour and definition. She's so talented and creative. I'm absolutely thrilled with the outcome, total transformation. Definately another visit planned.”

“The Descent of Man Tattoo is my favourite tattoo studio in Stafford. The shop itself is absolutely stunning, when you walk in and see the Victorian inspired decor and curiosities, you know you are in a creative space! I have been getting tattooed by Charlee over the last 6 years and always feel welcomed and looked after by her. She is professional, fun, and always enthusiastic about my ideas - which makes me feel really valued as a client. I love every piece I have had done and always look forward to the next! All the tattooists at the shop are friendly and approachable, there’s always a good atmosphere (and soundtrack!) and the hygiene levels and aftercare are excellent.”

“Hollie is the most gentle tattooist I've ever been to. Yes, it hurts, but way less than any other tattooist. Her line work is delicate, beautiful and flawless. I've had 3 from Hollie in the last 3 years and her style is incredible. “I had such a wonderful experience at Un1ty in Shrewsbury. I felt so much at home in Jo’s cute studio where I was warmly welcomed by their doggy. The familiar sandalwood stick scent next to Shree Ganesha ( Hindu God with an elephant’s head) on the shelf was so comforting to me. It all started 3 years ago when I came across Jo’s Instagram account. I am so happy that I could finally make this trip, Jo turned my horrible scars into a beautiful peacock. It’s not over yet and I am looking forward to my next sessions and can’t wait to see Jo again and revisit the beautiful Shrewsbury.”

“Been using Inner Darkness now for a few years, seen several studios, several different members of staff and a lot of amazing tattoos come out of there. The new shop is amazing, large open space with amazing decor and a shop full of amazing staff who are all unique with there own styles. Everyone who works there is very friendly and will always look to engage in conversation all being knowledgeable on a lot of topics and will always converse round to try and find similar interests to help ease and make the what can be long, painful sessions fly by. I’ve always used Nathan and have had 6 sittings now and as stated he is very knowledgeable, always produces great work and is very good at getting you through long sittings and the more “tender” part of the sittings. I’ve had several encounters with Shannon who is a good laugh and always helps create a good dynamic in the studio and allows everyone to bounce of each other in witty battles which creates an illusion of time passing once again to pass by the hours on long sittings. The new apprentices the shop now has have produced incredible work while I’ve been there and are all friendly and passionate which helps create a fun friendly environment.”

“WOW, where do I start? We lost our mom recently, my sister and I had matching tattoos in remembrance. From beginning to end what a fantastic atmosphere. Made comfortable as soon as walked through the door. This guy takes so much pride in his work, fantastic at his job. I loved my finished tattoo, actually brought a lump to my throat.
