“Booked into Sugar Skull on recommendation from a family member and they did not disappoint. From start to finish the service was fantastic. The consultation with Adrian was great he really took time to work with me and my ideas and he was very welcoming and friendly. He knew exactly which artist style would best suit what I was looking for. My tattoo was done by the amazing Hernany and I am absolutely delighted with his work. He is extremely talented and his colour work is outstanding. 10/10 Service all round and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks again everyone”

“Visited Mortez, along with my hubby, a couple of weeks ago for our very first tattoos. The studio made us feel so welcome, and having previously met Gillian to discuss our ideas we were excited to get started. The experience from start to finish was fantastic, Gillian’s design and superb artistry is second to none. “It had been nearly 7 years since my last tattoo by Tamas and there was only one artist I wanted to do my leg when I finally decided on getting it done. His work is a different level and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. I booked in for two full back 2 back sessions and I was amazed at how easily the process went. “On our excursion across the pond from the states, we decide to grab a tattoo in Glasgow and right out of the shoot the communication with Frank was quick and easy. We exchanged a handful of design ideas over email and when I arrived in the morning for my tattoo he willing- without question- to make tiny adjustments upon my request. Shop is crisp and clean. Frank is jovial and kind hearted; equally important Frank a fantastic artist. His line work and shading are second to none. If I ever get back to Glasgow, I’d gladly stop in for another piece.”

The decoration and thought Lauren has put into the studio is so welcoming and not to mention very cool! “I've had a fair few tattoos here, as have my husband and daughter and my other daughter has had piercings here. I can honestly say this shop is the BEST place to come for any of those services. From first contact with Victoria, who is accommodating, polite and also funny, to the actual artists themselves. My husband and I have been to Louis (wjo happens to be Victoria's husband) many times, every time you're guaranteed an amazing inkwork and good chat. My eldest has had work from Annmarie, also amazing work. I've seen Nicole, Shaun and Hannahs work and it's all top notch. My 16 year old has had piercings by Esther and there wasn't anything that Esther didn't tell her about aftercare, including a follow up appointment to make sure everything is healing well. On the subject of aftercare, as long as you LISTEN to your person, you'll have no problems. But if you do fall unlucky, they are happy to take a look and advise you on solutions. One final thing I'd say about Set Sail, is I'm so glad I found this place. They are the nicest people I've met and quite often in the face of people having keyboard tantrums. Victoria needs a medal!”

“Im not even home yet but i feel i best leave this review ASAP. I stopped in on a whim last week and got speaking to the guys in the shop. Sat down with Vitor and told him all the things i would love to incorporate on a sleeve (first ever tattoo so very ambitious) and he worked his magic on the iPad creating something i loved the look of. Thinking of every intricate detail, how it would look confined to my body shape etc Fast forward a week and I've just finished a 6 hour shift, Vitor working above and beyond to complete the first to stages of the tattoo and it's an understatement to say im delighted with how it looks. Attention to detail, always cautious of my comfort on the bed, ensuring the keep the pain to a minimum (the last half hour was interesting but we got there) I'll let the pictures speak the words. Amazing team, amazing/spotless studio, amazing art”
