   I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a tattoo! My husband and I have been getting tattoos by Gillian for a while now. I was pretty clueless about what to go for initially- I knew I wanted something in a Celtic design and I was so happy and impressed with Gillian’s design and ideas. She is insanely talented - all her designs are amazing and she has a wide range of artistic style. We have great chats too and she patiently puts up with my middle-aged ramblings! Everyone is really friendly and you’re welcomed as soon as you come in. The studio is also spotlessly clean and comfortable. Google won’t let me add my photos but I highly recommend Mortez.

   I’ve had 4 tattoos done by Gillian now, including 3 cover-ups – one of them was a horrible tattoo I’d been stuck with for 10 years (I can't explain how awful this thing was). Another artist recommended Gillian, and honestly, she smashed it – it’s perfect and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. She’s insanely talented, but also just such a good laugh. She makes you feel totally relaxed while you’re getting tattooed, which makes such a difference. The whole team are lovely too – really welcoming and friendly every time I’ve been in. Can’t recommend her enough!

   This is my first time using Mortez Tattoo & Piercing and after the absolutely amazing experience I had today it will not be my last and I will be recommending them to anyone I know that is looking for a tattoo or piercing. Roz was so welcoming as you enter the premise and very knowledgeable about all the processes and detailing the aftercare procedures. Gillian was outstanding, her work speaks for itself, she has what I can only describe as put 2 pieces of art on my leg and arm today. I could not be happier. The studio itself is welcoming and inviting and super clean. Gillian was an amazing artist, she talked to me about the design, the colours and all the little details as we went through the process, she made sure I was super comfortable and even gave me a blanket. I felt like I was at home. These guys are super lovely people, you wont go wrong getting a tattoo or piercing from here.

   Visited Mortez, along with my hubby, a couple of weeks ago for our very first tattoos. The studio made us feel so welcome, and having previously met Gillian to discuss our ideas we were excited to get started. The experience from start to finish was fantastic, Gillian’s design and superb artistry is second to none. We are delighted with the results - mine a delicate cherry blossom with a hidden breast cancer ribbon, and Gordon’s a bold music statement (Status Quo Pile Driver) that he can add to later. We thoroughly recommend Mortez if you’re looking for a quality service; Gillian you put us at ease and made the day go so smoothly. Love to Moose x

   I cannot recommend Mortez enough! The studio is such a fantastic atmosphere, very chilled out and comforting. All the artists and staff are incredibly lovely and welcoming and just in general make you feel like you are in the right place. I have had the pleasure of getting absolutely amazing custom, freehand tattoos from Gillian whose art is mind-blowing. I honestly don't see myself ever going anywhere else. Big love!
