   If you like sitting in a hide watching birds through long lenses, this is the place for you. For a walk, it is a bit dull. The reservoirs have high walls and so the water and birds cannot be seen while walking. I was grumpy from the start. The website is clear about the £3.50 pp fee but says nothing on how you can pay. There is no online option. Another site says cash only and only a selection of coins. I went to great lengths to get £10.50 in coins, to have the machine arbitrarily reject a 50p coin. Luckily, you can pay by card. Why not state this on the website? I now have a heavy pile of coins I'll probably loose.

   Took a trip to Top Hill Low nature reserve while i was up in Yorkshire, The £3.50 entry fee is good value, I went mainly to photograph Kingfishers and wasn't dissapointed , Being a disability scooter user the paths around the reserve are flat and well maintained and seem to go on for miles , I did get lost on the way out as there is a real lack of sign posts in fact i saw none , out of the 12 hides i only found 2 , The only toilets are in the car park and there is no shop or cafe's on the site , The disabled toilet although small and dated was at least clean, The nearest town is 10 miles away so be prepared to take your own food and drinks, Will i go back ? Absolutely

   If you love bird watching in beautiful surroundings, you'll love Tophill Low. Bird hides are really good for photography. Paths are in excellent condition. All in all, it is a perfect place for birders.

   This place has lots of different habitats, marsh, ponds, forest, and large open water, all having well positioned viewing ares or hides. This was a first-time photo scoping visit, so I wasn't expecting much activity at this time of the year, but I was surprised. I will definitely return in a month or so, hoping to capture a kingfisher photo.

   It's £3.50 per adult to enter but most paths were closed. We were not able to go around any of the two reservoirs. Also the place looks very industrial and there is very little woodland. We will try once more in the spring. Perhaps when the works are finished it will be actually worth the price.

   Great place to visit a lovely walk all on hard surfaces so fine for wheelchairs and goes from woods to open tracks a large car park and toilet facilities you do pay for car parking its £3.50 per person but that's all day the ticket machine takes cash or card plenty of hides so you can watch the wild life a picnic area by the car park and by the small pond

   Great walk around. plenty of accessible hides for wheelchair users. reasonable price for entry. plenty of picnic areas for a sit down. only done the blue walk. going to come back and do the other 2. spent a good few hours with our camera. loads of species of birds. the odd plane flying over from the nearby runway. very peaceful place.

   Lovely nature reserve with lots of wildlife. I especially loved the marsh pond at the entrance where we saw and heard lots of marsh frogs. Toilet facilities were clean. My only negative is that the ticket machine doesn't take card payments and there is nowhere for miles to get cash.
