Bracing walk in the wind on the top of the embankment. Started at the pub, the Crown and Anchor, then along up to Pulfin and High Eske. Paths on both sides of the river, with pedestrian bridge just by the pub. Busy, fast and noisy main road, so it's pleasant to walk in this green peaceful place. Popular with dog walkers and anglers.

Lovely little walk down to the Lake. Lots of wildlife to be seen.

Lovely walk from Tickton. Lots of swans, mallards, dragonflies and damsel flies. Shame about lazy people leaving litter by the water though.

Had a lovely walk along the river and then down by the reserve. Saw lots of birds and fish in the lake. There are no facilities at the reserve and the walk is quite exposed but flat.

It's a nice walk along the bank countryside to one side and the beck on the other. People use the beck for jet ski paddleboard etc. From hull bridge its about 3.2 miles walk. Pub near by for food and drink.

Lovely place and an haven for wildlife and wildfowl, it is a shame the discarded litter and abandoned fishing equipment. possibly the site should have more restricted access or more surveillance.

It is a lovely place but the Environment Agency has to stop the illegal fishing. In winter this place is host to hundreds of easily disturbed ducks, their presence is not compatible with angling.
