    The Clockhouse Pub (formally the acomb hotel) is a large, impressive 1930s art deco style pub. This two roomed pub has a good selection of beers lager and cider but no cask conditioned real ales. The drinks prices are cheaper than a lot of the pubs in York. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the pub is a great place if you like playing pool there are four tables. The pub is decorated with murals of pop stars and sporting Legends. There is a nice outside seating area, and the pub is dog friendly.
