   Called in off chance to find a lovely village pub with very friendly staff serving delicious lunches. We had the roast of the day sandwich which came with chips & a separate jug of gravy. It was delicious. They do main meals & early bird as well & not too expensive for the quality & portion they serve. Thoroughly enjoyed it & we can only say it's well worth a visit. We have passed it many times while traveling out that way so we will definitely be calling in for lunch or dinner again when passing.

   Lovely food, nice atmosphere and decoration (makes it feel really cozy). Had a delicious picante pizza and sticky toffee puddung as dessert. Would definitely recommend it to others!

   Just bobbed in hoping for a meal, lucky on a Sunday afternoon for us 2 to be given space to eat. We will book next time, and so very worth while doing so!., gets busy and quickly, for good reason too.. thank you all!!

   Great taste, good portion sizes. Attentive staff, good, personal service. Roast Beef was pink, cooked to perfection. Sticky Toffee decent portion size, just needed an extra scoop of ice cream! Will return. Booking recommended.

   A lovely place to have food in the area. Never been disappointed food wise. Great beer garden for a sunny day. However the staff are always changing and it’s hit or miss as to whether they will be good or not. I’ve been there where they’ve been lovely and other time not so much!

   First visit for our 19th wedding anniversary. I had crab starter and belly pork.Our daughter had bbq chorizo and pizza and my husband had fish and chips. Mine and our daughters were fabulous but my husband didn't like the fish and chips.The batter was really thick he didn't enjoy it. But worth another visit to try something different.

   Great place to have my birthday lunch,staff were attentive and friendly and the food was lovely with big portions!!!Price was very reasonable ,loads of parking to the rear...would highly recommend.

   Had a lovely meal this Sunday, great choice of food, all starters and mains very tasty and well put together, puddings great too. Staff nice, friendly, efficient, quick too but you don't feel rushed. Surroundings comfy, can't fault it and would definitely return.
