   We had a lovely meal here last night - staff were perfectly timed. Food smelt incredible walking in we were all excited for what was the come. The pizzas are the best on main street in my opinion!! Very tasting and full of topping and they understand what it means to add extra cheese for those that like to take it further ( a lot of places get this wrong ). Excited to return x

   I had the best pizza I've ever had. Now, to preface this, I've never been to Italy. I have, however, had a lot of pizza from places boasting their credentials and basing their entire brand on authenticity. I have also been to Vesuvius a lot since moving nearby and it has never been less than great. Service is friendly and welcoming, people come and are social with one another, the music makes you think of some knowingly chic film and the decor is charming. I had the meatballs with some delicious bread, a juicy and flavourful orange juice (which is sweet to the point you get a suggestion of honey) and the best pizza I have ever had. The crust was aerated, the base was crisp and just slightly risen and there was a fearsome cheese pull without the cheese being searing hot or stringy. The tomato sauce was flavourful and the toppings felt fresh and were delicious. It just all came together brilliantly.

   This is the third time visiting Vesuvius and each time we have been blown away by the amazing food! The chefs and staff are so friendly and there is such a welcoming atmosphere. Our favourites are the Napoletana and Bufala. Such authentic flavours and a lovely restaurant. Won’t go anywhere else for pizza. As a vegetarian it’s great having so many options and also a vegan option! Best pizza I’ve had by miles- and I’m not just saying that. So fresh and delicious

   This is the third time we have visited this restaurant and after another fantastic meal I feel compelled to write a review as this place is perfection. If you like authentic Italian style pizzas you will not be disappointed... so tasty , so fresh and so delicious. The menu has expanded since we visited a while ago, so we sampled a couple of the starters and sides and they too were amazing... can't wait to some back!

   Our favourite local pizza place - really authentic Neapolitan pizzas with San marzano sauce and just the right amount of mozzarella. The aubergine parmigiana starter is absolutely delicious too.

   Best pizza we’ve had anywhere in Leeds and one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had full stop! Such a welcoming environment the owners are so friendly - amazing service alongside the incredible food. Great atmosphere and value and would recommend to all! We’ve ordered for collection a few times too which has never disappointed. We will continue to visit Vesuvius and we’ve very pleased to have this gem so close to home.
