On a visit recently to take my granddaughter to see Santa I was very disappointed. The elf was very friendly who took us in but the facilities are in great need of updating. Also the Santa was continually pushing up his beard. I paid extra for a photo book which I did not receive only the photograph. Costing a total of £22 this was not an experience that I would repeat. Granddaughter happy as she never noticed. Too excited but expected much more from Dobbies.

(Aberdeen) Brilliant cafe and spacious garden centre shop area, and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast (good value for money)… although ended up spending what we saved on the wide selection of plants outside :D

Beautiful store well laid out. Prices are quite high. Staff know there stock well. Staff are polite. Bedding plants usually die within a week of being bought. Family, friends and neighbours have had this problem. The fish department is good apart from some overcrowding of tanks with some species of fish. Dead fish don't seem to get removed. Good selection though.

Not sure why I’ve not been here before. Bigger than expected, more on offer than expected and better than the larger chains like B n Q for plants and gardening. Lots of other things in here too. Could make a really nice garden on a budget and with lots of money

Dobbie’s cafe is an excellent place to have a great pick me up coffee or tea. Cakes and cookies, scones and sandwiches are to die for. Currently they have an offer of a membership for £12 where you have access to 2 hot drinks monthly plus a special treat on your birthday and a permanent discount on plants

Very poor choice for Gluten free options. By the time both meals were made up and got our drinks the food was cold. We visited around 2.30 and the place was reasonably quiet but had to look for a table that had been cleaned as most still had dirty plates etc on them. The dining area itself was looking very dirty, the floor was littered with pieces of dropped food and didn't look like it had seen a dustpan and brush for a couple of days. Poor considering the amount of staff milling around.

We both had fish, chips and peas it was delicious. Took advantage of the pensioners offer and brought our cakes home to have later. All staff very friendly, ladies cleaning the tables were SO busy and are doing an amazing job. Thank you

Great place for a browse on a cold wintery day, always find something different here. Christmas display still getting set up, so will go back in a few weeks to see the finished article. Great selection of gardening tools and equipment, and seasonal products.

The shop is very well supplied. You can find here a large selection of garden tools, plants and trees. I love the solar system for the garden that you can buy here. There is a large selection of garden furniture and ornaments. You can find here seeds and compost .
