Incredible!! The curry was the best I’ve had in a very long time! I went for the achari, such a wonderful tasting curry, rice was cooked perfect and the peshwari naan was out of this world. Service was spot on from the moment I walked in. Very professional, very clean, amazing food. What more could you want. Thanks
hello friends family travellers, Barry Allan here once more writing about a fantastic eating experience ive had and the other other evening visiting Lasan in lovely westhill certainly was one please read on! id heard good things about Lasan and even tho its a distance from where we live my friend and i decided to have a trip to check out what delicacies they had on offer and im so glad we did folks, upon entering we were warmly welcomed into the bar sitting area which was really nice with comfy chairs and a well stocked bar, ill start by saying all the staff were so very very friendly and made us feel so welcome which was great! Shown to our table the restaurant was beautifully lit and our table was well laid out in a little booth with curtains at the side so nice! We ordered our drinks and perused the menu which had a lot of choice old and new dishes were on offer something for everyone in my view, i opted for the kashmiri king prawns and my friend who likes it very hot ordered the king prawn vindaloo!!!!! we sat back enjoying the ambience and waited for our food we were hungry! The food arrived and straight away you could see this was quality my kashmiri king prawn dish had exotic fruits within it huge well cooked king prawns and the tastiest sauce absolutely delicious full of flavour and expertly cooked! my friends vindaloo also looked excellant a lovely thick sauce and again big juicy king prawns to hot for me but he said it was fabulous the rice was perfect and the chappatis were soft and floury everything was just perfect and we thouroughly enjoyed everything that was served so glad that we made the trip to this amazing curry house, again i cannot compliment the staff more they were so wonderful polite and kind and it was a pleasure to meet them all and we are definately going back! so if your in westhill this is the place to go for a really fabulous curry meal thankyou folks and thanks for reading peace barry allan.
An average Indian restaurant, food was good, tikka chicken was tasty, Jhura Gosht lamb signature dish was ok, but the saffron rice was disappointing neither looked nor tasted saffron, overall it is an ok restaurant while the staff should be less aggressively welcoming while serving, kinda felt uncomfortable
Overall Excellent , upscale food, service and surroundings. Dinner for two, the curries were authentic, distinct, generous and delicious as were the side dishes and breads. Service was friendly , courteous and prompt. Thanks
The food is great! Service is A+! We arrived late, but they still served us. Everyone from the restaurant manager to the server was so friendly and nice. If you're ever in Aberdeen, check out this Indian restaurant. It won't disappoint.
It was a delight to visit Lasan while I was staying near aberdeen for work. The outside is unsuspecting as it is played next to a supermarket, but when you enter you are transported to sleek modern Indian restaurant. I visited twice, the first time I had a chicken Jalfrezi (pictured) which was quite spicy, with some extra chillies and the second was a chicken karahi which was also very good, I chose to try Saffron rice and it accompanied the curry very well. If I do visit the area again I will be returning to Lasan :) Staff were very friendly and the good service has definitely been a focus for the restaurant.
We had a family meal on Saturday 19th for my wife's 30th meal was great and the staff were fantastic. They went out and got a cake on short notice( I didn't mention it was for a birthday) so a nice way to finish off the meal
Fantastic food, had the Chicken Pakora was lovely fresh, then moved to Butter chicken, that was absolutely tasty, hot, good chilli heat and a good portion, garlic rice was spot on and loads of garlic. I was very impressed. Had a very good coffee to follow. Don't lose this restaurant it is Highly Recommended hopefully when in the area will come back for sure.
Visit Aberdeen once a month for work and come here every time because of how great the food is, a food pilgrimage that makes the trip. Broad enough menu to cater for all tastes, and if you talk to the waiter he can advise to go hotter if you require. The menu is all good, and there's the usual lagers and a good wine list to compliment the delicious food. Always too full to manage a pudding.
Very nice experience. The food was excellent, very tasty and we'll presented. Very clean spacious restaurant with friendly staff. Good selection of drinks and pretty reasonable prices. Definitely will return when I'm the area again.
