Came across this place by accident? Really glad I did as it's such a lovely place to chill and relax. The park is so well maintained and there's lot's of places to sit. There's also a miniature railway.

Beautiful park in the heart of Buxton. I love visiting here especially in the summer. Thereβs something for everyone whether you are a family, couples or individuals. There is a train ride for children, play areas, a greenhouse, and sometimes stalls in the hall. You will also find ice cream and eateries here.

Absolutely gorgeous gardens with lots of geese and a charming view of the manor house. Also has a wholesome little mini train. The conservatory itself has loads of interesting plants and a lovely little koi pool.

What a great park. A really nice place for a pleasant walk. Dog and child friendly. Two sections for younger and older children to play. A section of water that has pedalos in the summer months. Train rides around the park run in the summer and some weekends in spring. Open areas to play and plenty of paths that twist through the park. The park is situated next to the Pavilion Gardens and the Buxton Opera House. A stream meanders through the park with plenty of Geese, Ducks and pigeons to feed if you wish.

Fabulous park with loads to do! A must visit when near Buxton, the gardens themselves are beautiful and very picturesque . The Pavilion cafe has delicious food options including gourmet pizzas. Coffees are pretty good as are the pastries. The miniature locomotive in the park costs Β£2 per person (under 2s go free) and you can pay on card at the friendly operator in the "station". Its worth other for the 5 minutes ride you get for sure. The activity parks for the kids are well equipped with swings, slides, zip line and loads to climb on. Topped off with a go on the giant inflatable slide (Β£2.50 for 10 minutes) the kids are certain to have run their energy off after visiting here! Around the boating lake there are ice creams to have before going on the pedal or row boats. Β£10 for 30 minutes I believe. Doesn't sound like bad value although we didn't go on as we have a 4 month baby with us.

Good to have great weather to enjoy the many attractions here. Kids enjoyed the playground for hours. We had a picnic by the lovely flower beds. Enough toilets, lots of catering outlets and a brass band to watch with our ice cream. We stayed all day

Splendid Victorian park with lovely walking paths and overlooked by the pavilion.. an ideal place to enjoy a cup of tea and a snack. This week, the park is host to all things Jurassic complete with dinosaurs of all sizes and few dinosaur eggs.
