Pavilion Gardens in Buxton is a truly lovely place to visit and perfect for a relaxing yet enjoyable day out. The gardens themselves are beautifully kept, offering a peaceful setting for a stroll, a sit-down, or time with family. What really makes the experience stand out is the fantastic choice of restaurants and cafΓ©s nearby. Thereβs something for everyone, whether youβre after a light bite, a coffee, or a proper meal β all with great quality and a welcoming atmosphere. The combination of well-maintained gardens, attractions and excellent food options makes Pavilion Gardens a real gem in Buxton. Itβs somewhere you can easily spend hours and leave feeling refreshed and well looked after. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking for a great day out.

Beautiful gardens with free street parking if you can find it or loads of paid parking either around the town or in the gardens which can be located by the main road. Free public toilets, a small railway train that goes around the park for Β£2.50 per person, lasts around 5 minutes and is very cute, allowing you to see and take in the park from different angles. Theres loads of different paths, trees, wildlife and plants, some with information plaques, as well as frequent benches, bins and play parks for the kids. Extremely child, disabled and pet friendly. The streams, ponds and riverways are very well kept, as is the whole park and its lovley to see the ducks and wildlife enjoy it too.

What a lovely and unique place. We walked around gardens for a bit, lots of wild birds, small water lakes, had live music playing, which made atmosphere really nice.

On a quiet morning you can enjoy listening to the birds and the running water. Great to take photographs. In the Pavilion the glasshouse is currently closed. Most of the small art shops have closed in the Pavilion and been replaced with a bar with beers and ales.

The Pavilion Gardens and the whole of Buxton park is an awesome space. Gorgeous stream containing ducks and geese. The park and is beautifully maintained. A miniature railway train runs round part of the lake (twice) at a very reasonable price. Autumn colours were amazing and the streams and rivers were flowing and flowing over the weirs and waterfalls. Beautiful sights and sounds. Lovely big childrenβs playground. Sound footpaths throughout to park area. Very accessible for all levels of mobility. Highly recommend

The change in this area has been amazing out with the old in with new ! The eating area with its modern look which still matches its park & old tradition brings modern eating where you can sit outside alfresco & enjoy the views or the tables in side ! Gourmet food is here & people love it they come here in the thousands all over the world ! I give 3 stars as yet more will be spent to bring it to a five star ! Staff are cool & you can even enjoy a cheeky gin or beer !

The health spar town of Buxton is a luvly place to visit when the sun is shining. Beautiful stonework buildings, interesting history, little shops and cafes. The Pavilion Gardens have some great wheelchair friendly friendly walks and events happening for all the family over the summer season. A must to see is The Crescent, designed by John Carr of York, is one of the most architecturally significant buildings in England.

Large park with a pond filled with Canada Geese and a greenhouse. Shane it was raining heavily when we are there. Definitely worth a visit in the summer. Very nice park. The greenhouse is nice to walk through as well. Had a large coffee shop inside.
