βWe used an EHUP hard standing pitch. You donβt need to ask for a quiet location as the whole site was beautifully quiet, relaxed and had families staying too. The facilities were certainly 5 star, the extras such as pizza and ice cream were a good value welcome treat! The showers and toilets were spotless - we would love to return. Rose and Philip were exceptional hosts, friendly yet not hovering over you!β

βExtreamly happy with my custom colour match. Matches exactly how i was expecting. So pleased with it. I didnt think I would ever be able to find my colour again after it was discontinued. Definitely the place to go for your color matching needsβ
βWe have had some new sofa seat covers made as our lovely dog scratched the leather to bits. Petra and Martin have been wonderful, so professional and friendly from start to finish and a very quick turnaround. They recommended the best material for our naughty pooch and we are over the moon with the results.β
βIt took us just nearly 4hrs to walk all around, including some sit down breaks and time to enjoy the views. We were blessed with a wonderful weather to enjoy the beautiful views. We had great time. Make sure you have wear comply footwear or even hiking boots as some of it was quite hard going and our feet and legs were hurting by the end. I would recommend and will most likely return it the future.β
βWow! What an awesome place this is. We went to the British touring car championship weekend, was absolutely brilliant. Very well organised, excellent toilet facilities which were kept clean. We camped for the weekend which you couldnβt fault at all. Would highly recommendβ
βFantastic experience at Escape stoke attempting the Taken room. Didn't think we were going to escape but managed it in 59 minutes and 58 seconds! Really good puzzles and our game master Rob was great. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again to try the other rooms!β
βI have an ex-racing greyhound who canβt be let off lead, so we love coming to Paws and Play to use the field. Itβs secure and always well maintained. It also has various obstacles to use and you can drive in making things easier. Treats, drinking water, poo bags and toys are all provided.β
βGreat outdoor space with agility equipment and a lake for a cool off and drink for the pooches! Toilets and shelters for humans! My 3 dogs had a great time and slept well that night! Well worth a visit if your looking for a safe and secure area for some free running and play.β
βGood walks with some stunning views from the highest points. Some tunnels where a torch is needed and some rough pathways so good footwear is needed. Well worth the visit.β
βAmazing and so mind freeing. A great place to take your soul and the dogs to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.β
βLovely garden with lots of secret places to come across. Mainly tulips and Azaleas at this time of year but we'll worth coming back in summer to see the fabulous herbaceous borders in all their glory. Nice little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. There are stone steps up to the cafe and that's where the toilets are located. Gets very busy at peak lunch time. There are also lots of steps within the garden.β
βReally beautiful place with a small river, ride on train geese and very well kept garden.very family freindly place to be and it all look wheelchair freindly aswell.β
βWe went to see the Christmas decorations within the main house. There's no extra charge for National Trust Members but you still have to book a time slot. Absolutely fabulous displays with really interesting info boards to explain the function of each room at Christmas, and some very clever themes applied to the decorations. Fun activities for kids, some very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to support the visit. Well worth a look if this is your kind of thingβ
βWe stayed for a week this summer and loved it, very welcoming and friendly staff. Toilets and shower facilities are excellent, very clean and well maintained. Lovely communal building where we used the kettle and microwave provided. Great location for visiting the surrounding area. We had a campervan pitch, lovely in the evenings with so much wildlife! Would recommend and will certainly look to stay at other sister sites or come back to Longnor if back in the Peak District.β
βGreat place to start a walk around Knypersley Reservoir. Don't miss Gawton Well, Gawton Stone and the waterfall. A great place for kids to explore.β

βBeautiful place parking . coffee shopβ
βWe recently stayed at Overwater with our narrowboat. The plan was a two week stop over christmas so we could leave our boat in a safe place. After 24hrs we extended our stay by a further 3 weeks. Why? Having seen a few other marinas we could immediately see how much effort and pride there is in what they are creating here. From our first contact with David, the manager on email, it was evident they knew customer service (all too rare today). The services ( showers, elsan, & fuel) were first class. I needed to receive a few packages while we were there, and even have a mattress delivered and take away. All no fuss. The site is very clean, well looked after and teeming with local wildlife. There was no big road noise and very little overflying aircraft. There was dedicated dog walking area and we spotted some very neat looking glamping pods and some bigger lodges Also a big shout out for the book on demand bus service (go-too) that picked me up from the gate and whisked me into the middle of Nantwich on several occasions and then there is a jewel in the crown, The Cafe. dog friendly and delicious food. A real winner In short a fabulous marina, and justifiable multiple winner of marina of year. Thank you David and the whole team for making us so welcome. I hope many more people get a chance to share the experienceβ
βReally nice area with a variety of walking routes (most of which are firm under foot). Well worth crossing the canal into Marbury park and stopping off at the mobile refreshments trailer (their Marbury blend tea is very nice and they do a variety of lunch options and sweet treats). There are public toilets next to the trailer, should you need them. Crossing back over the canal, and following the tow path back to the boat lift car park, results in around a 4.5 mile circular route, but there are opportunities to extend it further, should you want to. Really popular with dog walkers and families.β
βBeautifully kept site and lovely people. Best breakfast bap on the planet! Plenty of space for the tent and motorcycle, very highly recommended. Thanks guys!β
βI found this place through Google review search. We arrived and was told they could not accommodate 4 of us inside. A very helpful lady sorted us out with a nice table right in the centre of the pub. We ordered and waited for a short time . We were not prepared for the portion size, we had fish, pie and chips, sausage and mash and the half rack of ribs. The ribs I swear came of the biggest pig in the peak District. Every thing was fresh hot and tasteful. It was amazing, I would not drive past this place. It is the real deal. After a day on the peaks this is the place for amazing atmosphere great fresh local tasteful food.β
βGreat place to take the kids with parts for all ages. With the quarry right next to it for picnics and ball games it's a really good location. Would be better with cleaner toilets but the same could be said about anywhere. At least this park has toilets. Good amount of seating dotted around makes it easy to sit and watch the kids playing. Overall great place to go.β
βI refreshing area for a lovely walk on a nice day. Plenty of things to see with a great view from the highest point across the whole area in multiple directionsβ
βGreat area for all the family members and friendly dogs. After nice walk everyone can enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice cream in local coffee. Summer time is even better as you can enjoy water activitiesβ
βBeautiful, well maintained park. Attractive flowerbeds surrounded by grass ideal to have a picnic on. Lovely enclosed children's play area with numerous different apparatus which our granddaughter lived. Toilets available and easy parking nearby. Lots of fascinating history associated with the park dating back to its opening in 1871 including a Victorian pavilion and drinking fountain.β
βThe Hales Hall caravan and camping site is in Cheadle Staffordshire. It's a large site that provides both tent and caravan pitches. They also have the choice of 3 types of wooden lodges which looks lovely but they are limited to just a few. On this site they have a statley home which as a restaurant that you can book a table even if you are not staying at the site. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff. They have all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable toilets and showers blocks. This site is close to the Alton towers theme park and also a great place to stay if you want to explore some of Staffordshires beautiful walks and trialsβ
