β1820 the trees were donated from around the country it's got the most variety of trees in the country in one park. These trees have seen so many memories tears and laughter. We sit under them from the shade and shelter from the rain. I love this park and the lake.β

βMe and my daughters visited this wildlife park and it was a wonderful visit. The animals all look well cared for with plenty of space to move. The accessibility for wheelchair users was fantastic. Platforms made it easy to view animals and the walk around areas were not too small. Information about each animal was clear and easy to understand for younger children. There was an option to feed wallabies or deer, we opted for wallabies and were amazed when a joey popped its head out of its mom's pouch. Although my daughters are adults, the play area was fantastic, we would have definitely spent a fair while there when they were younger. Definitely a place to visit. If there were any recommendations for the park, it would be to have some Makaton signs by the enclosures.β
βIn need of a leg-stretch and letting Jabba have a run about, we stopped off here on our way to Devon. Some magnificent views, lots of routes to take and not tricky to park near to the entrance. Looks like there are some facilities closer to the lake, but we didn't get down to those bits.β
βApply amazing wanted to wright this a wile a go but the employees are amazing especially the lovely lady that helped us pick out spot will be going againβ
βMy mother is looking for a new sofa so had a look at NCF Living. Dan from the Stoke store helped us out. We needed certain requirements, but he was very knowledgeable, there was no pressure from him and made us feel very comfortable. We didnβt end up buying just yet, but his advice was great and gave us a lot to think about. We will be back once weβve come to a decision and will look for Dan again. All round great customer service on our visit.β
βLovely walk along canal very well looked after, lovely people to talk to and very dog friendly. Lovely place to sit and watch the barges going through the crossing.β
βA beautiful little area. Such a pleasant place to walk around.β
βDecent place plus the guys that work there are helpful.β
βWhat a great place for a short break. Loved it much I got extremely excited. I was also told not far was a local Dogging club but didn't see any. Let's hope next time.β
βEnjoyed a nice walk through the hills at this place - signposted slightly oddly from one direction as the sign is beyond the entrance, but we managed to find it in the end and walked to the top of the hill to be rewarded with an excellent view. There was one slightly odd track that took us down the back of people's gardens, was very overgrown and then got to a part that was completely blocked by one person's fence, so we had to turn around and go back. Not sure why the entrance to that is still available as I would've thought it'd be better to block that part as well, or at least put up a sign!β
βGreat food, friendly staff, definitely returnβ
βTook my 12 & 8 year old here for Begin Off Road, and they had a great time, even the rain didn't dampen their spirits. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. As the group progressed around the park they split into 2 groups based on confidence/ability which really helped my yougest as he wasn't as confident in the woods as his older sister. Thoroughly recommendedβ
βOnly Β£4 each to get in and under 2s are free, cute little farm. You can feed the animals 50p a bag of feed. Play barn with a sand pit. Little nature walk with a den, picnic areas and outdoor play area. Mini golf included in the price. There's a cafe with fresh cooked meals drinks desserts and ice cream. We'll definitely be back it's beautiful for families.β
βWe stopped here for a short walk, picnic and a read in really peaceful surroundings. There were a few people walking around with their dogs that were having a fab time (and swim) in the lake. Occasional trains passing by but otherwise very quiet and a lovely hour spent here.β
β45 acres of beautifully laid out park. Lovely nature walks, Historical buildings, children's park etc.β
βWonderful, very clean area, well maintained paths, beautiful variety of plants, some of the walks could be sign posted better, there are some more accessible walks if you have mobility issues. Pleanty of different car parks, but bare in mind the car park you choose may vary the immediate accessibility of the walks so I'd advise you pick your carpark based on rhe walk you choose. Dog friendly just clean up after your pets. There are bins at key points throughout the park as well as park benches and picnick tables. This park is tended with the help of Park Hall Friends who help clean the area and maintain its splendid atmosphere.β
βFabulous park; I visit it all year round with my dog, Kevin. A great mix of open grass areas, wooden glades; there is a bandstand, skate park, fenced playground, large pond, small feeder pool, a community garden, loads of parking via multiple car parks, and a good leisure centre with swimming pool, spin classes etc. a really great park for everyone.β
βWould recommend this pub if you love a nice content atmosphere, service is amazing and polite. Not too give child friendly! As on remembrance Sunday every year my family all get together too honour all that have fort for our country, especially our dad and brother who thankfully are still here today! But not only was the Owner of the pub at the cenotaph amongst us all, he offered a free port too any old or current soldiers who came in his pub. All in all great atmosphere.β
βFantastic Family Run Park. Beautiful Lodges and Statics. Some Beautiful Statics and Lodges for sale.perfect place to get away from it all.Stunning Views. Pubs within walking distance. 100% recommended to everyone.β
βPaul has to be the best host we have ever come across. So very helpful , friendly and understanding. The site is spotless.....the facilities are wonderful....we had a lovely stay here and will be going back really soon. We have marked this as one of our new regular go-to places. The only thing we would say , is be careful ordering from the smokehouse restaurant at the end of the lane...it's really expensive for what you get, but that obviously is nothing to do with Abdo hill campsite. Thanks Paul, your campsite is fantastic, we will be back very soon. 5β from me and Charlie!β
βFriendly staff and great service. Good selection of products in stock and available next day.β
βGood place for family day out, very good play ground, surprisely very cleanβ
βExcellent service from all staff. I felt listened to, and was treated with care and patience. Everything was explained clearly and staff were knowledgeable. Tremendously beneficial to my mobility and detailed exercises were given. Thank you so much!β
βWe absolutely loved our stay in Penny Hut this weekend. The hut was so warm and cosy even in the snow! Everything has been carefully thought about and it was a lovely touch with the birthday banner, chocolates and fresh eggs. Couldnβt recommend enough! Thanks!!!β
βInteresting collection of businesses and a cafe. We visited Alternative Meats to collect and order. Would be worth a proper visit to look around.β
βAbsolutely amazing little cottages in a beautiful location at Rudyard lake immaculately clean, owners very friendly 100% recommendβ
βRecently sold my car at carstore direct stoke, the process was quick and straightforward. James did a great job in valuing my vehicle and gave me a price I was happy with and a lift back home, can't fault the service tbh. I would recommend anyone to try them out, you'll get a bit less than selling privately obviously but it's worth it to save on the time and hassle.β
βPleasant walk through woodland. Ideal walk with, or without dog.β
βLoved this intimate venue with an excellent selection of cocktails. Decent atmosphere. Will definitely go again.β
