Extremely personable engineer, Paul Beggs and initial contact with Summer was also excellent. Kept in touch about arrival times which was also appreciated. “Fun morning katakanu and canoe session with teens. Naomi and Joe were very helpful and wanted us to get the most out of our session, so they tailored it to us. Beautiful setting to sit and have an ice-cream after with picnic benches outside. We had a voucher from friends, and this experience would be an excellent experience present for a family.”

“We visited bewilder-wood for the Christmas Panto and light trail. This was the first time we had been and we loved it. We wondered through the forest looking at the lovely light displays. We then had some festive food in the tee pee tent. The food was very good and very fairly priced. We then went to see the pantomime and wondered through the remaining forest light trail. We spent around 3 hours here we had a great time! Thank you Bewilderwood”

“Great site, we stayed for 1 night and can’t wait to return. Facilities were very clean and the music on Saturday afternoon created a great atmosphere. The camping field is very chilled. Thanks for having us and we look forward to our next stay already.”

“The food is good for the price. The carvery is lovely - tender meat, lots of side dishes (sometimes the veg can be a little watery, but I've not had a bad meal there yet). The pizzas are made by hand, and are really tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful, they are very good about dietary requirements and allergies. There are some days it can be a little noisy in one part of the place, but it's big enough that you should still find a quiet corner I've given it 5 stars for food because you get a good meal for a very reasonable price”

“The best and most relaxing break I've had. Our hosts thought of everything to make things easy, from the brew stuff already on site to the hot tub being ready as soon as we got there. A quiet and peaceful setting, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away.”

Despite a rather complex panel shape, Keith has saved the day, and the distracting blemish is gone, dealt with in a professional and friendly manner. It’s great to know this level of skill and experience is only a phone call away. Highly recommended.”

“Took them a little while to contact me to arrange a convenient appointment date, but once they did everything went great. Had some scuffed leather repaired on a driver-side seat and the leather repainted on the steering wheel to remove the shine. It was reasonably priced and the finished result looks great. They even gave me a lift home after I dropped my car off in the morning. 5 stars.”

“We stayed in our motorhome for two nights. Lovely, peaceful site, good facilities, especially for a CL site. Very helpful owner. About 5 miles easy drive to Malpas with shops and pubs. Easy access into the site for our 8m motorhome. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Burns Night event with a Rod Stewart DJ and performer. The food and entertainment was fantastic. This place knows how to put on an event to create funds for the club. The rugby is also great and if you have little ones who want to play a sport, this a fabulous place where they grow as a team and make forever friends.”

“My grandsons blessing was held in the Nuns Room, it was a perfect venue. Recently refurbished it had charm and character and was beautifully presented. Our buffet was delicious, we made our choice on Mathews advice, it was perfect. The staff are all so flexible. They are polite and friendly , nothing is too much trouble. A perfect venue !!
