The guys did a professional job craning off our canal boat and putting it safely in the marina. The chandlers were competitively priced for supplies very friendly. Good tea room. Would recommend

Second time here, and they've increased the caravan/motorhome pitches. We've come "out of season" so there's no Bell Tents or camping. But the cafe and other amenities are open. It's a breeze just to arrive, find your designated pitch and park up. Unfortunately for us the walks were very sodden, so we made do with wandering around the marina. Crewe, Middlewich and Nantwich are all within short driving distances.

The campervan pitches are so good and the toilets are spotless ,the staff are lovely.cafe is bit expensive I think they could do a discount if your staying there 10 pound for 2 drinks is to much . Met a lovely lady cleaning toilets we spoke for ages , we are going back for new year it will be out 3rd time love it .

Came in today! I had a sausage & egg sandwich and my wife had a Bacon & Egg sandwich. Sadly my sausages were like rubber and fatty/oily!. Reheated? Not sure! Apparently locally produced, but the cooking method seemed suspect to me! I am a qualified chef! Food was lukewarm. Wait time approx, I beleive, 15mins. Wife enjoyed her Bacon & Egg Sandwich though, bacon looked meaty/chunky - so glad about that but she felt the need to leave the crusts! IMO - Bread to large for the filling. The tea was very nice. No welcome as we arrived, no warmth in the service style - one lone customer had to ask for a napkin - it was apparently her first time there. Music entertaining and the Internet was very good. Wife attempted to engage in a friendly manner but was more or less ignored. I - Left my plate in a manner that it was obvious I hadn't enjoyed my meal. Less than half eaten! No attempt to check back was made. On departure there was no C U soon, for example, and the waitress, when I looked at her as we left, seemed to be smirking . I beleive fully recognising I hadn't had a great experience. Surrounding area is very attractive and the place seems clean. SO - All in all not the best but also not the worst. Sadly - OK seems fair. All the best

Great site, we stayed for 1 night and can’t wait to return. Facilities were very clean and the music on Saturday afternoon created a great atmosphere. The camping field is very chilled. Thanks for having us and we look forward to our next stay already.

Cafe does not have toilets which is unusual. Directed to staff facilities in different building. Food and staff lovely.

Felt like a cafe for the people who owned or rented a boat, felt rather awkward and we ended up sitting outside. Shame really has a nice location, quiet with nice scenery.

Love the whole atmosphere people so friendly walked around canal boats moored up. Went to cafe lovely and clean and the food not overpriced and good quality. Give it a try you won't be dissapointed. Nice canal walks and picnic benches.

Tea is nice there. Big pot. Lovely place to sit outside and watch the world go by. Didn't eat there but it looks nice and plenty of others were eating. Bit pricey for food but we are in an energy and financial crisis so expected I suppose

We used the camper site for two nights while attending the Nantwich food festival. No complaints, water and electric on pods to each pitch just like moorings. Excellent. Lovely receptionist, very friendly and welcoming. Nice quiet site and clean.
