“Absolutely superb 4 day break at Alvaston Hall this week. The entertainments team were the very best I’ve seen at any of the Warner hotels. They work so hard not only on stage which was amazing but also all around the hotel keeping everyone entertained during the day. I wish them all well in the future, keep up the good work. To summarise , the room was clean and comfortable, food was very good, and the entertainment was second to none. We will definitely be back!!”

“Visited for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. Service was mixed - one of the waitresses was good but the other wasn’t great (ignored us at the bar etc). But overall a good experience and we’d definitely return!”

“We visited after spending the afternoon with the grandchildren at the Pantomine. The meal was from the lunch menu as we were too early for the evening menue. However there was loads to choose from and portions were very big. Presentation was lovely and the service by the waitress GABBIE was five star!! Very polite and attentive. “Our dogs have been going there a few years now and always look really well when we collect them. They only smell of the kennels because the kennels get cleaned regularly. They always seem happy in pics. Our dobe has issues and is always fine. They both just walk in with the staff. We nearly lost out big lad last year but it was the staff here that noticed he had bloat and rushed him to the emergency vets where they saved him. Can never thank them enough highly recommend”

“Lovely staff, lovely rooms, not super modern, but have everything. Stairs are a bit dated, but it totally suits the building, superbly clean. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. Ample car free parking. If you're a train enthusiast, this is a must! It's opposite the train station. We visited Stoke on Trent and Nantwich, and both 20 minutes drive away. There were many more places about it, but we only stayed 2 days. Near Tesco express, macdonalds and loads of food delivery places.”

“AMAZING!! I booked The old Parlour and Cow Shed to come with some of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The barns are beautiful and they have thought of all the tiny details. The bath house toiletries in particular smell incredible! They provided milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as bath robes. We chose to add a booking on with Georgie and Co who came to the barns to provide us all with treatments.It was the best massage I’ve had in quite some time! I would highly recommend booking if you want to add some relaxation to your stay. I can’t wait to visit again! x”

“Wonderful, wonderful bar. The DJ is out of this world!! Me and a couple of pals had dinner and drinks here on a Saturday night. I didn’t realise the place turns into a full blown nighty C after dark. Food was amazing, service too. But, the DJ was something else! Got chatting with the DJ who names himself ‘Joey the Axe’ (I think). He was brilliant. Read the room with his music, and was very very friendly. Played all of our requests without issue and made the night very special. Even gave me a lift home and walked me to my door!! I’ll never forget you Joey the Axe.”
