The hotel is in a good location, if you don't mind a walk into town. Amy on reception is amazing, she is so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!
We stayed October 8th and paid £95. A sign in the lobby said there are upgrades ongoing and the hotel may not look its best right now. The check-in staff didn’t mention anything about construction or noise. As it’s a large hotel we assumed we wouldn’t be put in a room near the construction. At 8am loud drilling and banging started in the rooms directly next door and above us and woke us up and continued until we left. We couldn’t believe we were charged full price and put in a room in the midst of construction. We asked for a refund based on the Good Night Guarantee and have been informed as the noise was ‘outside quiet hours’ they will not be giving us a refund. Greedy behaviour from a hotel that should close wings while noisy construction is ongoing or charge a discounted rate.
Hotel was very dated and basic, as expected, but the room generally felt quite dirty. The bed sheets had a few stains, which may have been permanent, even after being laundered and there were cobwebs and dust on the wall above the bed.
If I could give this place less than a one star review, I would. On arrival there were hundreds and hundreds of motorcycle and bikers out the front of the hotel holding a rally which I had not been made aware of, prior to booking. I felt incredibly unsafe as a solo female traveller, Chris the hotel manager was incredibly unhelpful and said the only option to move was to be charged an additional £60 to move to a different property and he felt that he had gone above and beyond to even speak to me on the phone he was incredibly rude and refused to even give his surname. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service at Premier Inn before the hotel itself is also shabby, dirty and a really poor representation of the brand.
It is what it is. Simple over night stay. Odd they dont do breakfast. Neither does the pub next to it. I must say though the staff were incredibly helpful.
Alway stay here when I am in the area. No breakfast facilities but not far to Nantwich town centre to get food. Staff lovely, very helpful and friendly. Especially lady on the reception called bev. Sorry if I got the name wrong.
Stayed here for 3 nights and have to say although they are all the same layout this one was nice and felt fresh, front of house excellent and friendly with good knowledge of area for food as Pub at front was not open Monday or Tuesday. Look forward to staying again and good luck Nantwich.
Warm friendly welcome and staff on hand to help with any needs or problems. Shame there is no breakfast here and the restaurant onsite is separate. There is a premier inn not to far away if you did want breakfast - let them know your from Nantwich Hotel and they will sort you out.
It's a love and quiet place, I did not sleep there though, just went there for breakfast and it was splendid. I was told though that the place Al's its nice to stay.
Was a bit disappointed with this one, mainly because the room was just too hot even though it was a pretty cool few days, simply because the window barely opened a crack. Everything else was normal though, clean and tidy everywhere and fairly quiet. The buildings have an odd layout with the old one facing the new one. This limits the view but turned out to be fun for me because the young couple opposite left their curtains open and put on quite a show on all 3 nights! I probably won't go back though, at least not in summer because of the hot room.
