“I've been bringing my dog Fred to Mel for almost 3 years now and I have to say, she has been a godsend. Finding a permanent groomer for Fred has been extremely difficult - he is super anxious when it comes to grooming, especially anything involving clippers anywhere near his paws. Mel has been incredibly patient and gentle with him, and built up his trust in her to the point where he runs into the room and even jumps up onto the table! Never in a million years did I think I'd ever see that. Mel loves what she does, genuinely loves animals and she is a star. Highly recommend!”

“Our dogs have been going there a few years now and always look really well when we collect them. They only smell of the kennels because the kennels get cleaned regularly. They always seem happy in pics. Our dobe has issues and is always fine. They both just walk in with the staff. We nearly lost out big lad last year but it was the staff here that noticed he had bloat and rushed him to the emergency vets where they saved him. Can never thank them enough highly recommend”

“AMAZING!! I booked The old Parlour and Cow Shed to come with some of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The barns are beautiful and they have thought of all the tiny details. The bath house toiletries in particular smell incredible! They provided milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as bath robes. We chose to add a booking on with Georgie and Co who came to the barns to provide us all with treatments.It was the best massage I’ve had in quite some time! I would highly recommend booking if you want to add some relaxation to your stay. I can’t wait to visit again! x”

“What a find this cafe/grooming salon is. I needed my dogs nails clipping, and when I googled if there was anywhere local I could have this done apart from the vets, it stated Charlie and co did a walk in service. We arrived no issue, the young lady in the salon was brilliant with our dog who is a rescue, so we were unsure if he would be nervous, he rushed into the grooming area no problem, we went and had a coffee and before we knew it he was done! Fabulous service we will be back. The girls are a great team. Oh and lots of doggy friends for your pouch to meet downstairs in the cafe.”

“My young Cavapoo pup, Ellie, is very sensitive and found going to any groomer very stressful , that is until she met Vanessa at Va Va Groom . After an initial meet and greet session where Ellie was able to meet Vanessa, and I could discuss concerns , Ellie has been going for a regular monthly groom . I see her confidence grow with every session and Ellie is obviously very comfortable being left with Vanessa . She greets Vanessa very enthusiastically and goes with her with her tail wagging . I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone wanting their dog to have positive grooming experiences without fear or trepidation . An added bonus is that Ellie comes back looking beautiful !”

“We visited after spending the afternoon with the grandchildren at the Pantomine. The meal was from the lunch menu as we were too early for the evening menue. However there was loads to choose from and portions were very big. Presentation was lovely and the service by the waitress GABBIE was five star!! Very polite and attentive. We will definitely be visiting again.”
