“AMAZING!! I booked The old Parlour and Cow Shed to come with some of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The barns are beautiful and they have thought of all the tiny details. The bath house toiletries in particular smell incredible! They provided milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as bath robes. We chose to add a booking on with Georgie and Co who came to the barns to provide us all with treatments.It was the best massage I’ve had in quite some time! I would highly recommend booking if you want to add some relaxation to your stay. I can’t wait to visit again! x”

“Lovely cottage, really warm once you get the log burner going with all the comforts provided. Fab lemon drizzle cake too and helpful, friendly hosts.”

“Receptionist was super helpful at check in. Everything explained well. Very clean. Everything you'd want from a room. Car parking was perfect. Breakfast was also great. Tesco express open til late was 1 min walk away. Overall a top place to stay.”

“On arrival we were greeted by Sarah, very approachable and accommodating. She explained clearly where we would find out room and even nipped to the Beefeater attached for a couple of fizz flutes as we had brought with us a couple bottles of fizz for the room. Thank you..”

“Came for a 'posh' fish and chips with my sister on Saturday afternoon. It was a Virgin gift voucher from my friends. We were seated straight away and all the staff were really lovely. Modern decor. The fish and chips were delicious and we also enjoyed the fizz that came with it. Great first impression of the place and we will certainly call in again. Thank you for a lovely time.”

“After a stressful Christmas arrived here , to see Claire on reception , her customer service was amazing nothing was to much trouble and it really did make a difference to my son and I , Lucy sorted more towels the room was spotless and they were so happy to help ,went over to grab food as we were starving Ian was really helpful and chatty and Jordan in kitchen did a great job , so Thankyou everyone but especially Claire hope you all have a great new year ! “The best and most relaxing break I've had. Our hosts thought of everything to make things easy, from the brew stuff already on site to the hot tub being ready as soon as we got there. A quiet and peaceful setting, far enough away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away.”

“It was a wild and windy night. Fabulous welcome entering the pub with 2 fires burning and excellent staff. The food offered was a good mix of traditional fare with some modern twists. Everything was homemade and tasty. Because of this, it is not a hurried experience. So enjoy.”

I really enjoyed the food. A deveng variety. J went with my partner and kids - all are fussy eaters but there was something for everyone. Prices of meals varied between around 15 and 18 quid, steak a bit more. Really good value for money with the quality and size of the meals provided”

“This delightful hotel set in stunning countryside provide lovely comfortable rooms. The whole atmosphere of the place is peaceful and "countryfied" well suited to its rural setting. The restaurant has a goiod choice of food and both our choices were delicious and good value for money. Great real ale too served in the cosy bar area. First class.”

“On 25th October we had our wedding at the Lion & Swan, WOW it was certainly 5 stars!! After 8 years of being engaged and looking at sooo many venues, we randomly stumbled on The Lion & Swan and when we came for a viewing we knew it was what we were searching for. During the whole time planning our wedding Liam has been great, he is so attentive and nothing is too much trouble! Our wedding day was amazing and went smoothly. The venue is just stunning and even more so with wedding decor. The food was delicious!! Downstairs at Radleys is the perfect place for an evening reception which creates the best atmosphere for a party. Also all of our guests that stayed at the Venue commented on how lovely their bedrooms were and what a nice breakfast they had. We absolutely loved having everything for our special day under one roof and wouldn’t change a thing! Thankyou so much Liam for all of your help and support. Hannah & Dan x”

“We've just spent 5 nights in the Byley suite at this lovely hotel. I can't fault it in any way. It's very clean and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The grounds and outside spaces are attractive and well maintained and there's plenty of parking available.”
