Visited with a group of friends recently. I read the reviews prior to going and felt confident of our choice of venue. Unfortunately expectations fell very short, service was slow, my burger was sent back due to being barely aired. The replacement was fine. Other members of the group were disappointed with the food. I think the kitchen was over loaded with food orders which potentially caused the issues. The place needs a bit of a clean in my opinion. I won't be returning to Reubens 46.

Nice quirky place to have a drink and something to eat. The place itself was clean and presented well. Staff were friendly and polite and made you feel welcome.

We visited Reuben's for the first time last night (Friday) for my son's birthday treat. Unfortunately, our first impression is not great. We were seated at the back of the restaurant by the back door, it was freezing as they did not have any heating on. We had to wait over an hour for our food as there was some electrical problem in the kitchen. The staff were very good, they kept asking if we wanted any drinks bringing to the table. I did enjoy my combo burger but my son's was cold and my partner's order wasn't what he asked for. It got to the point that we were so cold we just wanted to leave. As I said it's our first impressions on the place and we won't be revisiting.

I have mixed reviews from this place. The first time I went to Ruebens for food it was a Saturday night and really busy. Service was slow, orders were messed up etc but the food was great when it did come. The second time I went, everything was fantastic. It was a Sunday evening, not as busy. Service was fast, food was perfect, orders were precise and the staff were very friendly. All in all I would highly recommend visiting as the food is just amazing! Be prepared for a long wait if visiting during a busy time. Will be going again.

Absolutely lush!! 5 of us dined and all agreed, clearing our plates and leaving stuffed to the gills! The sharing platter was a great way to enjoy lots of different items. Atmosphere was relaxed and staff were really friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. No photos as we were too busy stuffing our faces!

I was too excited to dig into my Colonel burger and house seasoned fries I forgot to take a photo, absolutely scrumptious! We shared a medium nachos to start! Super friendly polite staff, service was great.

Food was good/satisfactory at best. Burger & Cajun fries were tasty however having had the brownie, it was extremely poor and borderline inedible (Very dry & slightly burnt) Again, I’m afraid overall I thought for the quality of food on a whole was not worth the money. Never seen a restaurant have a menu where prices exclude VAT until you get the bill, which was very unexpected. Menu accessible via mobile is a nice idea, however extremely difficult to use and also makes the restaurant look like an Anti-Social gathering.

Reubens is doing big flavours in a small town setting. The staff are extremely friendly and understanding. The food is very very flavoursome. You can really taste the fire on everything coming off of the BBQ. The burgers are extremely satisfying and just the right amount of messy! Well worth a visit.

Really good food. Service was good, staff were very accommodating. We had the pork belly bites and chicken tenders for starter. The pork belly was soft and flavourful and came with crackling. The chicken tenders were served with a choice of sauce - honey and soy sauce was extremely tasty. For main we each had a burger, they are not shy on portions. If you can try the burger of the week you should. Will be returning. Thank you to the staff also.

A hidden gem! We parked outside accidentally while looking for a pub to eat in. Decided to give it a go and wasn't disappointed. Really lovely staff and possibly the best burger I've ever had. Very reasonable prices and happy to have our toddler be a toddler.
