What an amazing night at Bewilderwood Cheshire! We booked a 6pm slot and arrived around 6.15pm. The walk was really quiet and it felt so magical! The show was brilliant with excellent audience inclusion. I cannot get over how much nicer it was than other local attractions at Christmas. The opportunity to have a drink and bite to eat after the panto was great, and meet Santa. The rest of the walk again was lovely and honestly I’d give this place more stars if I could. Thank you for a wonderful night! ❤️

We visited bewilder-wood for the Christmas Panto and light trail. This was the first time we had been and we loved it. We wondered through the forest looking at the lovely light displays. We then had some festive food in the tee pee tent. The food was very good and very fairly priced. We then went to see the pantomime and wondered through the remaining forest light trail. We spent around 3 hours here we had a great time! Thank you Bewilderwood

Bewilderwood presents Christmas - we were unfortunately really disappointed with our visit to this event with our 5 year old. There’s really nothing for the kids to do and if they’re like my child - they’ll get bored very quickly. The first path of lights that leads through the woods almost felt like cattle being herded. If it’s busy then there is no time to stop and look at anything around you as there are other families behind you waiting to get through. The lights from the path are very repetitive, about 30 snowmen, that’s basically it. The “panto” lasted about 10 minutes, whilst we appreciate the work that goes into it, it wasn’t anything special and very short. Next stop is the food where there are limited dry benches under the canopy, rain can’t be helped that’s fine. There was a queue to see Santa who was stood outside a little chalet looking set up talking to families, my little one was so bored by now he didn’t even bother standing in the queue. On the way out there’s some more lights that are much more interesting than the first lot but again, very repetitive. A couple of actors with puppets on the path that will engage with the kids. Finished. In total we spent just an hour. I can’t remember how much I spent on tickets but I doubt it was worth it. Wouldn’t recommend or come back for this Xmas event. I will add though that this is an incredible place any other day when all the play frames etc are open!

After we booked, we received an email saying the venue would now open at 11am instead of 10am — with no real apology and no option to cancel, even though the terms had changed after booking. As a result, we felt like we were rushing around all day rather than letting the kids relax and enjoy themselves. The later opening was apparently due to the light trail in the evening, but all the play structures closed at 4:30pm. The light trail itself only took about 15 minutes to walk through, so there was no need to stay later than 5pm — it was dark and there was nothing else to do. We drove over an hour to get there (and even longer home due to traffic). It was actual Halloween, so we were trying to get back in time for trick-or-treating. When we booked, none of the timings for the day were advertised, and the delayed opening time wasn’t mentioned — neither was the later closing time. If we wanted to do the light trail then we couldn't leave earlier than 4.45pm. So we also had to rush the light trail at the end. If we had known the changed timings prior to booking, we simply would not have booked as we would have known the timings would be too tricky. I emailed to ask about this and the response showed that they just didn't care. In fact, the structures closed even earlier, at 4:19pm. My little boy was in floods of tears when he ran over to go down the big slide one more time, only to be told it was closed. If you are going to open late in the day, at least keep the structures open until the advertised time. I took the photo of the slides at 4.19pm. You can see there is no one on them as they were closed by then. The signage around the site could also be much clearer — we kept having to ask for directions and wasted time going the wrong way - even though me and my friend have both been before. On days like Halloween, it would also help if staff advised visitors not to go through the Halloween light trail section during the day, as it spoils the effect later on. We were told the light trail started at the Munch Bar, but it actually began near the toilets. At the end of the day, when the kids are tired, you need clearer direction. The place itself is fabulous, but it feels like the people running it don’t really think about the customer experience. Things like accurate opening and closing times really matter. Sadly, I’ve been left with a bad taste in my mouth and wouldn’t go back.

Big slides, big ziplines and bigger trees. This is a delightful adventure playground with a very generous scoop of imagination, leading to many blink-and-you'll-miss-them details in the trees and bushes. The narrative of the land isn't the most cohesive, but that doesn't really take much away from the charmingly wonky art and creations that do a lovely job of sparking the imagination, particularly in younger (5-9) visitors. The wooden frames, mazes and scrambles are all very well kept, and there's even an exclusive flavour of ice cream that went down a treat.

Wow! Had tickets this weekend as a birthday present and had the best time with my partner and our son. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. There are too many fun activities to name them all but we especially loved the slides, den building and the food! Very reasonably priced! After purchasing lunch we went back for a coffee and hot chocolate. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic day out! We took 6 boys aged between 8 and 6 for the day - I wasn't sure there was enough for a full day but oh my goodness there absolutely was! Every area seems so well thought out and well planned, everywhere was clean, the staff were so friendly and encouraging. I can imagine it gets very busy - we were grateful to go on a school closure day. Definitely would return!

What a fantastic way to spend the day, weaving in and out of the tree tops, sliding down the slides and climbing on the park. Great for all ages! Brilliant safety measures , allowing toddlers to experience zip lines and swings. Great price on the food and drink and you could always take a picnic and eat in any one of eating areas, which have rain cover too. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The park is surprisingly quite big, and you'll definitely need the whole day to explore it all. Have fun!!

Best kids place I've been in a very long time. It's huge and has so many activities that your kids can do. Some activities are fun for the adults as well. I loved their maze and collecting the clues in the sheet they gave us. My son enjoyed so much. Only minus point was food. We are vegetarian and the food wasn't too great.
