Useful location nice carpark but rediculously expensive at £7 for the day. This , along with Carsignton water recevoir car park are the most expensive i have seen for a long time

Beautiful spot for a nice relaxing lunch. Parking's cheap enough for 2 hours (£3.50) to have a little sit and enjoy the surroundings. Worth the small cost, but plenty more to see and do if you wished to make a day of it.

Update on the parking - it's £7.50 for a full day, £5.50 for 2-4 hours and £3.50 for up to 2 hours. People were dumping their cars on the roads just outside - there was plenty of room even on a sunny Saturday - so, to be honest, even though the carpark was really well maintained if I ever was to come back I'd just drop it on the road somewhere! Ice cream inside was great though!

Lovley place but couldn't stay as we took our bikes and you can't go round on bikes

  3. Phil Cooper ★★★★★

Parked here for the start of the 10k race that my wife was doing. Lovely, scenic area with a cafe on site too. Nice views towards Hen Cloud and the Roaches and possibly a good starting point for some walks.

great walk around the reservoir a few different trails to choose from great visitors centre at the start of the walk with outside setting and indoor cafe and gift shop outside there is also a adventure play ground and toilet facilities just keep in mind when walking round there is know more toilets till you get back to the start there is a water activities centre that have toilet but when we went they were for customers only the main walk is 5miles long
