Lovely large rooms, very clean & quiet - the only slight worry was the lack of lock on the inside of the bedroom door. We had a bit of a problem getting into the hotel as we arrived at 22.05 & couldn't get in, but after telephoning a number displayed on the door a lady arrived to let us in. The receptionists were lovely & very helpful. The frony car park was full when we arrived so we went to the back of the hotel - the area behind looks a bit rough but the hotel itself is fine

Rooms were clean and adequate. It’s a Travelodge innit!! Gotta say that the staff in this particular Travelodge went above and beyond like you would never know! Bulgarian lady who works there was so kind to us think her name was Marianne… Location was mint too Greggs and Subway was also there!!

Pleasant overnight stay on way to Alton Towers from Scotland. Will use this stop-over again. Despite rating of 2*, the travel lodge was staffed with helpful, polite, friendly, courteous staff who were on hand for all our questions, including local weather reports! Met all the needs for an overnight stay. Entrance, hallway, reception and room were all clean and tidy.

Stayed there for one night on a work trip. Good customer service, but the hotel and the room looked very dated. The room was also very dark with only source of lights being next to the door, desk lamp and bed lights. Looked clean only at the first glance, there was a lot of dust on the skirting boards. Walls were also paper thin, could hear anything going on outside the room in the corridor

Spent an overnight here this week.Staff friendly and welcoming.Room clean and well stocked with additional pillows and towels.Bed really comfortable with good quality pillows and duvet.Great to have free parking on site as well.Location exactly as we needed as was very close to Kidsgrove and to motorway. We made use of the adjacent Greggs/Subway,which was ideal for what we needed. Also just a 10 min walk/ 2 min drive away from a local Steakhouse. Would highly recommend and would certainly book again.

This was the first time staying at the travel lodge. It was a little difficulty finding the entrance from all the roundabout that where in the area. Once we made our way in to the entrance Me, My Partner and our Dog where wormly welcomed by two members of staff one was Andrea who was very friendly welcoming us in at the desk. When we entered our room the heat hit us, it was as a little to hot for us. When we where ready to go out for the evening Andrea very kindly gave us our direction to Leek, and printed the direction of for us.

Staff cleans rooms perfectly, smells very nice, cozy bed. Toilet is perfect. Provides room with a tv, beds and tea.

It was absolutely shocking a woman come to the door saying she could smell smoke even tho me and my Mrs don't smoke! And stood at the door while my Mrs is naked and wudnt leave! Absolutely shocking ✌️

great little travellodge near stoke on trent. we were visiting Alton towers with a group and stayed here. Basic facilities but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Even though its near a busy junction there was minimal road noise or disturbance. Theres a handy little greggs and subway spot across the carpark for food in the morning before hitting the road.

Google review summary 3.9 Good 461 reviews Rooms 4.3 Location 4.2 Service 4.7 What guests are saying "But comfy bed, good sized room and decent water pressure in bathroom for shower." "Great location, super friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms." "Packed breakfast, no cleaning job, and a total sham of a family room." More Reviews Search reviews People often mention Saifaan 2/5 just now on Google I'm going to clear up a few things. Since I didn't see other reviews talk about it, I will. First of all, upon entering our room, we realised the bathroom door had no lock. Like literally no locks. You can just close it but someone from the outside can literally come in. And then we came to know that apparently no other rooms have a lock on their bathroom door. The room is just one big room with beds, a TV and a few draws. No microwaves, fridges or anything of that sort. The only other room is the bathroom. Also in the bathroom if you wanted to take a shower, the way to turn on warm water was a bit confusing but I managed to understand it in the end, though the system itself is a bit stupid (to me at least). The bathroom floors could've been better but I do understand it's not a 5 star hotel but it is tricky to use the towels to dry water on the floor. The beds were okay, no one complained and we slept well. The staff is really helpful and the receptionist is really good at customer service. The breakfast boxes weren't great but whatever. But the whole experience was just ://
