Nice park, clean and well maintained. Only had a short walk but managed to feed some bird and see a Swan family.
Bathpool Park is one of Stoke on Trent’s hidden treasures. Its natural beauty is definitely worth a visit. It’s unspoiled with no amenities ie toilets, shops, ice cream vans etc, just pure nature. There is a free car park at the entrance with limited spaces but it doesn’t get over busy. Dogs are welcome. There is a short walk to get to the pool area, all accessible by wheelchair via a paved path. The tour around the pool is scenic, with the odd fisherman, other tourists and plenty of wildlife to view. Bring a picnic and enjoy nature at its best. As I say, it’s well worth a visit.
We stopped here for a short walk, picnic and a read in really peaceful surroundings. There were a few people walking around with their dogs that were having a fab time (and swim) in the lake. Occasional trains passing by but otherwise very quiet and a lovely hour spent here.
With the history of the famous black Panther story it's a well kept clean park. There is rugby pitch and ski slope and its nice place to escape and gather one's thoughts. Also the railway line runs through alongside.
Lovely park, good parking. Toddler/young children play area. Good walking paths and paths through the forest. Dry ski slope on site.
Great for dog walks and the dogs can have a swim in the smaller pool! It has a flat path most of the way around, which makes it an easy walk for prams and wheelchair users, also very popular with cyclists. The walk through the woods can get very muddy and quite uneven in places. From Acres Nook car park the walk is quieter, walking past fields and woods and usually there are less people about From that end. From the Boathouse road car park there are more people and especially children around and there is a great little play area with swings. Plenty of benches, pic nic tables, dog poo bins and litter bins, a shame not everyone uses them. No toilet facilities. Occasionally an ice cream van parks up in the car park off Boathouse Road.
Fantastic place for a walk with the dog. Nice and flat for anybody with mobility issues. I would highly recommend a visit.
Fantastic place, beautiful views, playground, lots of gym equipment every few meters, lakes, fishing and lot more. Wheelchair and dogs friendly. Highly recommended to visit.
