“Lovely little zoo. Great price. Went round twice and managed to see every animal which was brilliant. The walk from the carpark to the zoo is a bit lengthy but is all flat. Spent about three hours there really enjoyed it. Great selection of animals, all their animals looked happy and healthy.”
“Another absolutely fabulous day for our students at the zoo. The staff have been amazing working with us to help our students gain the practical experience handling a range of animals that they need for their Animal Care course - I cannot recommend them enough! The students loved it and were buzzing about learning how to do falconry knots and handle an owl. The skunk was also very popular. Well worth it!”
“This is a little gem of a place it is small but has some lovely animals and birds and has a flying display it is very reasonable in price and great for kids”
“Beautifully kept gardens with a free roam walking trail. Deceptive as it looks quite a small area but there are so many paths and different areas to explore. Many different themed areas too to keep the interest. The dahlia walk is superb. Highly recommended.”
“Great place for a walk in nature, beautiful and peaceful, plenty of benches to rest on along the way and an excellent kids trail. Will definitely visit again when in the area.”
“We’ve had 2 owl experience’s now and enjoyed it each time, Lisa is very engaging with the audience and has a wealth of knowledge about the birds she cares for, highly recommended.”
“This place was amazing! My sister and I loved being able to see the monkeys up so and learn so many different facts about them for example, their origin and their diet. We were lucky enough to be there at the time of their feeding which we got to see a staff member feed the monkeys and teach us how they behave and the hierarchy of the monkey kingdom. At the time of visiting, they had over 100 monkeys to see and around 11 of which being babys as young as 4 weeks old. As you leave the monkey forest, there's a cafe and a really big park with unique attractions such as big tree swings and mystery trails to walk and venture on. This site is truly amazing and I couldn't recommend it for families any more!”
“Me and my daughters visited this wildlife park and it was a wonderful visit. The animals all look well cared for with plenty of space to move. The accessibility for wheelchair users was fantastic. Platforms made it easy to view animals and the walk around areas were not too small. Information about each animal was clear and easy to understand for younger children. There was an option to feed wallabies or deer, we opted for wallabies and were amazed when a joey popped its head out of its mom's pouch. Although my daughters are adults, the play area was fantastic, we would have definitely spent a fair while there when they were younger. Definitely a place to visit. If there were any recommendations for the park, it would be to have some Makaton signs by the enclosures.”
“we had the most amazing day here looking at the animals! the shire horses are so beautiful and we were able to stroke them as well as listen to a talk about each of them. The centre also has otters and foxes which we were able to learn about whilst they were being fed. Honestly, the most incredible place with such friendly staff and beautiful animals - will definitely be coming back!”
“Great area for all the family members and friendly dogs. After nice walk everyone can enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice cream in local coffee. Summer time is even better as you can enjoy water activities”
“Fantastic experience!! Every scene was beautifully presentated with perfect music! Great for families of all ages and enough places to stop to take photos and great food from the vendors!”
“My little one loves going here. They have a wonderful mix of farm animals, which you can feed (the animal food to cheap here compared to other places). They also offer lamb milk feeding which is so cute. They have a barn with cars and bits in, a lovely park and a woods to walk through which help to provide variety and extend you visit. The food and drink is good quality (they have a variety of home baked goods) and for low prices.”
“ABSOLUTELY loved my time here. I came on the hottest day of the year, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was hot,the birds were hot, Laura (my guide) was hot - but it was one of the best experiences I've yet to partake in. So much so that I would like to continue in Falconry Training. Laura was so knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. She was so informative, and just wanted me to have the best time. I was allowed to feed the birds, go into their enclosures, hold a few, fly Bella (the picture shows Bella and I after a flying session)! Laura was a great guide - couldn't recommend her enough. Gareth was also about and got involved and shared his immense knowledge and expertise. Both are so down-to-earth, love the birds dearly, and want you as a client to get stuck in!! I went for the half day experience, and my god, Laura crammed so much in and I am so grateful. I am so thankful for this INCREDIBLE experience. Highly recommend, without a doubt. Mel was fantastic at booking me in, and so quick and prompt at replying to my emails. It was a breeze to sort everything out. Thank you all!!”
“Only £4 each to get in and under 2s are free, cute little farm. You can feed the animals 50p a bag of feed. Play barn with a sand pit. Little nature walk with a den, picnic areas and outdoor play area. Mini golf included in the price. There's a cafe with fresh cooked meals drinks desserts and ice cream. We'll definitely be back it's beautiful for families.”
“Great place. We came away with bottles of local ales, chutney, meat and cheese. There are several different shops including clothing and camping. We'll worth visiting for all that alone but on top of it all there's the animals which our granddaughter loved seeing and feeding with the £1 bags of feed. Then having a tractor trailer ride around the fields, a play in the play area and an ice cream. Plenty of parking. Something for everyone.”
“A great walk all year round. The Visitor Centre provides a selection of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks. The balcony offers a stunning view across the lake.”
“I had expected much less considering it’s just a sea life within a theme park but it’s actually quite dense! Lots of fun, and a nice break from the rollercoasters.”
“We had a really lovely birthday party here today for my 2 year old daughter. Alex and her mum couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly, and all round brilliant hosts. The children all loved the alpacas and really enjoyed feeding them. The farm is ideal for children, and the little cabin where we had our party lunch was cute and cosy! The children’s food was great quality and very generous. There was also hot drinks for the adults included. We absolutely loved our day and didn’t want to leave! A fun, interesting and outdoorsy children’s party with a difference - would totally recommend! We’ll be back to see you soon, thanks so much for everything, our little girl loved her birthday with you :)”
“Came to Bridge Farm with my brother on Saturday 1st July 23 and we both had a big breakfast with coffee, mine vg which was made perfect thank you. I just wanted to say the food was amazing and the atmosphere too. I cant wait to come back and try the eggs benny!”
“Always first class service - super horses and very trustworthy. Highly recommended”
“Brilliant day out! I had been looking at this place for a while but was unsure how good it would be. It was easy to find, there is plenty of parking, and it's cheap to go into the play areas (£11.99 per child and £2.99 per adult). I didn't see any disabled spaces, but there are no parking bays so you can leave a space next to the car for wheelchairs/pushchairs access. The car parking areas are well maintained, but are grass/dirt which might not be suitable for all wheelchairs. We went when it was really busy (hot day in the summer holidays) and it wasn't too busy. There are lots of well maintained paths around making it easy to navigate with disability aids (I myself use a stick and had no issues). There is a reasonably priced cafe, farm shop and concessions stand as well. You can also bring a picnic and there are plenty of benches/tables around to eat at! There are also lots of benches/seats in and around the play areas so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids and not have to be too far away. There are various types of play. areas for kids from toddlers to older kids. My son is 5 and he had a brilliant day! The staff around the farm are really friendly, and they look after the grounds so well with regular bin emptying, litter picking and tidying. Well worth the low cost to get in! We will definitely be visiting again! You can buy animal feed for £1 per bag at the entrance (reasonable bag size for the low price) to feed various farm animals on the way round. There are goats, ducks, geese, Free-roaming chickens, cows, horses, and pigs. Overall, I would easily give the farm 5 stars. It is a wonderful place to visit with the kids to get them off their tablets/devices and get them outdoors!”
“Lovely Large park. Easily accessible. Dog friendly. With plenty of bins too put your dogs waste in. Perfect to sit down and enjoy the nice weather with family. It's my favourite place for my dog to visit .”
“The hotel is in a good location, if you don't mind a walk into town. Amy on reception is amazing, she is so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!”

The staff was great, so helpful. Especially wife and husband who took charge. Very helpful. Good price for what was included. We had it all to ourselves too”
