We went for the Christmas light trail. It was absolutely magical. I really enjoyed it. The garden centre and shopping area was also a must do. Give yourself plenty of time to browse. Walking the gardens and the shopping area can easily take up the best part of the day.

Fantastic experience!! Every scene was beautifully presentated with perfect music! Great for families of all ages and enough places to stop to take photos and great food from the vendors!

Been many times but my recent trip was for the Christmas light trail. We thoroughly enjoyed it. There was food and drinks vendors on site at multiple points on the walk route which was great and well thought out. The lights were great some stunning displays and family's loved the experience. Also a little fair ground section for the kids which also added another element to the experience. Overall a great evening was had.

This is a lovely place for a quiet walk with the family and dogs. They have Beavers and Otters, although they are very shy and we didn't get to see any. Lots of little Easter eggs to find and look out for on the walk, which is great for adults as well as kids. We went out of season, so was nice and quiet. Very large lake and beautiful gardens. Definitely worth a visit

Loved it here! What a brilliant place for a day out with children. We loved the barefoot walk, what an original idea we’d not seen in any other park. Also the disc golf was such good fun. The play area is of a very high standard with plenty to keep toddlers, children and tweens alike entertained for the best part of an afternoon. Ice cream and coffee reasonably priced. We were there for a good 5 hours and still didn’t make it even a quarter around the lake.

Absolutely beautiful estate and gardens. I love the forgotten feel of the estate and it resulted in some beautiful photos. There's a café in the middle of the lake where you can get delicious local oatcakes or some refreshments. They often have events on and it has ample parking. There's a parade of shops at the front which also boasts a market on weekends. I would recommend a day trip here to make the most of it.

Lovely gardens and lots of places to get food. Wide open space & fresh air. Great day out. You can book afternoon tea in garden pods, which the price for what you get isn't amazing, you do get unlimited tea & coffee refills.

Excellent day out. The weather helped, but lots to do whatever the weather. Great food in the garden centre, nice walk around the gardens and shops for a rainy day. Parking was easy on a Sunday in July, but I imagine it's very busy sometimes. There is an overflow so I don't think you'll struggle for a space ever.

A nice place to walk around with a large garden centre and great restaurant. The village has many shops and food outlets. The gardens would have been great in the summer but there was no colour. I recognise it’s winter but a few winter flowers would be nice. There are many food outlets and the toilets were all clean and well maintained. Well worth a visit for all members of the family. Accessibility wise, this is probably one of the best locations for wheelchair users as every footpath I saw is well maintained and on the flat or marginal gradient.
