IAM sure the museum is good but oh how disappointing when one has traveled the cafe is cash only . The cafe lost a sale of two lunches and resulted in disappointed customers. In this day and age it is astonishing and poor business sense. It reflects badly on the museum. And scrabbling around for the car for £2.50 that doesn't suffice for a cup of tea. Both museum and franchise officer need to reflect upon this poor service. That said the food looked good and staff were pleasant.

What a fantastic museum! Great exhibits, excellent food and cuppa from the cafe, but mostly what a thriving, friendly, reaching-out place. We went for the Black Victorians afternoon and there was so much happening that we could get involved with. Spent a very happy hour making a collage. (Why don't adults get to do this sort of thing more often?) Highly recommended and I will definitely be visiting again, even though I live an hour away in Shropshire.

Excellent museum in a lovely building with plenty of interesting items on display from the local area and information about historical local figures. Something for all ages. My 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed the Victorian street and loved the kitchen range. Friendly staff on hand. It's free but deserves a donation. Cafe and little shop on site. Outside there's an aviary, sandpit, gardens and childrens park. Plenty of available parking.

My children and I really enjoyed the Brampton Museum. I loved the Museum, as I enjoy them personally. My kids loved the sandpit outside and the play area. The little cafe outside was affordable and nice too. Well maintained, clean and friendly staff I'd be happy to go again.

Great day out for the kids. Had an activity teaching then to look and learn for a prize. Great attention to detail at the museum lots to see. Staff are nice and most of all. FREE 2 hours to kill with the kids

Visited 19.2.23. Nice museum in a nice area in Stoke. Contains some nice painting exhibitions. There is a representation/reconstruction of a victorian like street on the upper floor. Sections with collections of items from different periods of the 20th century are also included, with a section on how work has evolved. Entrance was free.

Great museum with lots of nice displays and local history. The old street displays on the 1st floor are really fun too.

Small museum with good and interesting exhibits. Free entry but donations welcome. Lovely cafe area, recommend the cakes. Will visit again in better weather to explore the outside too.

Free to enter, small museum that has been recently and very nicely refurbished. The displays are very good given the limited display area. The vintage tea rooms looks lovely and the Action for Children activity that was on in the modern, well lit downstairs rooms was brilliant. Thank you for this facility, I think it’s great
