A historic and very well preserved place, where we can visit on weekends.

My first ever visit despite living locally. The staff were very welcoming, it was abundantly clear that they are passionate about the museum and its history, and the mill is 100% dependant on their commitment. As with so much in the local area it is important to maintain the link with our industrial heritage. Thank you to the volunteers.

Little quirky museum with amazing staff who carry out the shows and truly engage the visitors. Despite my late arrival, I was made to feel welcomed and the attention and knowledge given by the staff to ensure that I could learn more about the steam machines and how they operated and still do was appreciated.

Absolutely excellent museum with first class volunteer staff. Funding changes have left this slightly hidden gem in an awkward position. It is open only on certain weekends and, semi-officially, on Fridays. This glimpse into Potteries industrial heritage was a privilege.

Nice museum showing how bone china was made back In the heyday of pottery production. The steam engine works and is fired up on select days so try and catch it on one of those if you can. Friendly knowledgeable volunteer staff and a nice cafe

I think you need to be really interested in the subject to enjoy this museum. Nice little tea room with second hand books for sale. Canal lock nearby which is interesting. They have some activities for children too.
