“I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Nuffield Health in Harrogate. The gym offers a great range of equipment. Staff are friendly and professional, and the overall environment feels clean, welcoming. Having free parking is also a big plus.”
“Lovely afternoon prices were good, weather was great Kids loved it nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon”
“Old Victorian baths, inside it's modern.”
“Several function rooms for private hire at reasonable rates. Great decor. Two new bars. Warm welcome. Disabled facilities throughout. Also open for ballroom dancing, fitness dancing, singing for fun, theatre group, quiz etc.”
“A great place to go with all the family. There are cafe's, restaurant, ice cream parlour and even sell bird seed so the children can feed the ducks. It's great to sit and eat from a cafe or maybe a picnic that you brought with you. It's also a great place to go walking, for the novice to the very experienced hikers. There are water activities for those brave enough to try out new things, as well as being brave enough to maybe having a dumping in the very cold water. Or the whole family could go on a boat around the lake.”
“This is a hidden gem I’ve just discovered. Surprised how quiet it is, really good place for a walk and afternoon out. The views from the ‘summit’ are great.”
“This is a great place, just outside the centre. The main thing I love about this area, apart from the location and great natural vista is the fact that you can make the walk as short or long as you wish. There are so many variants using all the interconnected loops it's great on foot or bike. My only concern is too many people get to hear about it and it gets over used... Maybe a "Washlands Trust" could be started so more people can enjoy it, and it can be naturally maintained for all to enjoy. I would suggest all to go and enjoy the nature on your doorstep... responsibly.”
“Redcar Tarn in Keighley is a great place for evening and morning walks, and a great place for kids to enjoy”
“Very good. Easy to find. Google maps takes you straight to it. Secure. Clean. Long acre field, good views. Helpful owner (text with code for first time users)”
“Absolutely love Aqua Baths I wouldn't go anywhere else the lessons are fun and instructive, the tutors are excellent and easy to talk to as well as inclusive the facilities are always clean tidy and excellently maintained and are welcoming not only to use but for parents like myself watching our kids lessons. The price point is also brilliant especially since the class sizes are so small which allows a more personal approach and builds a great trust between teacher and student. If anyone is looking for swimming lessons for themselves or kids or looking for a private hire pool i wholeheartedly recommend ABC swimming”
“This is such a beautifully kept dog field, it is well cared for and very secure, it has a shelter if it rains or to get out of the sun, plenty of fresh water, and is in a beautiful setting, really recommend it.”
“Much of the area is left unmown. It is divided by seasonal water courses, and untrimmed hedges with oak, field maple, yew, and all the common hedgerow trees.”
“Ducks are cute. View is good in night time. Picnic is recommended.”
“Froggy legs is a fantastic swimming school. They have taught both my children to swim. The teachers are kind and caring, making the children feel at ease in the water. It's so easy to book and see the progress using the online portal. Thank you, Susanne, for being so dedicated!”
“An amazing swim club where swimmers are individually recognised for their abilities, and encouraged to improve their performance at a rate that is achievable for them. Fantastic staff, extremely welcoming and supportive. The club feels like an extended family!”
“First time users and will definitely be back. My 2 dogs a cocker spaniel 6 months and a pomapoo 5 yrs absolutely loved it here. So much to do for them. Added bonus of there being poo bags and water available. Literally everything you need for your pooch is supplied. The car park is locked so you’re totally safe and there’s a 10 min buffer so if u have a reactive dog they’re not gonna see any other dogs . Thank you from me Marmite my pomapoo and Toast my cocker spaniel x”
“A great swim this morning. Helpful staff and well set pool for lane swimming.”

“Brings the vibe everybody year without fail!! Family friendlyx”
“I've started to train regular at the sports complex and find it has a good range of equipment. Changing rooms are clean as are the toilets (just fix the little water leak). It's a fantastic venue for wheelchair sports basketball and rugby. The large sports hall is kept clean and I believe the rates are reasonable.”
“Looking for a place walk and chill - this is perfect for you. I enjoyed it walking around the horse course. You should visit this place. There is a huge playground too. Pet friendly. Great place to spend family time.”
“Beautiful place for a walk- lots of ducks and wild waterfowl, so dogs need to be controlled around wildlife! Difficult to find parking sometimes as not well marked on Google maps but an easy walk from the village.”
“The park had a lot of issues with litter etc for a while, but recently it's been lovely again. Gorgeous wildlife, squirrels, birds, bees all thriving. Flower gardens were a bit overgrown but I honestly like it, so many ducks and geese, and even saw wakefields resident kingfishers enjoying the pond. Secret garden was tranquil and tidy, pond was drained though which was a shame. We did find some old gravestones in the woods too though which were really interesting to see ♥️”
