What an absolutely gorgeous, clean swimming pool, complete with beautiful architecture it has been lovingly and sensitively renovated into the best possible blend of a modern and vintage leisure facility under one roof. It offers a brilliant range of events, catering to all. The staff are incredible; cheerful, friendly, welcoming and efficient. What a gem!

Poor Service and Communication They only replied to my emails after I called and said nobody was responding β€” and even then, they stopped replying again. I've been waiting since last Wednesday for an answer to a simple question. It shouldn’t be this hard to book a 1-to-1 lesson. Very disappointing experience.

This is an amazing place, we have been going here for around 15 year, my children started swimming here from the age of 4, and now my son aged 14 goes to the gym here with me, the staff are very friendly and make you feel like family rather than just a customer, would highly recommend joining to anyone looking for a gym, classes, or swimming lessons/sessions

Old Victorian baths, inside it's modern.

Went today and was surprised at how cold the pool is, lack of temperature gauge and lack of shower facilities. Maybe more regular cleaning and maintenance could be applied to remedy. Other than that was a pleasant experience.

Our swim group used Bramley for 28 years without issue even helping with the refurbishment of the foyer and making a large contribution towards the disabled pool hoist. Then a new CEO was appointed who evicted us without reason or explanation as to why. He would not enter into any form of talks to try and resolve his discriminatory and unfounded beliefs. Members of staff were also dismissed who didn't agree with his ways. The staff looked forward to our session knowing it would be an easy shift for them. In these current troubled times wouldn't you think that guaranteed regular income would be more than welcomed but apparently not! His actions have caused massive amounts of stress to our committee members in trying to find a new pool that wants our money!

Building is old but I had swimming lessons here for many years and every instructor I had was great. I have only been to the family fun session a few times but they were pretty good. I think my only complaint would be that whenever you go up the stairs to the viewing area, it’s REALLY warm which sometimes is a good thing but sometimes a bad thing. I have never been to it but it also has a gym and I think a sauna? Anyway the gym looked good and it’s got a nice atmosphere. The last thing I would say is that is next to a big road which makes it accessible and (fairly) easy to get to.

Great place for swimming lessons! Plenty of encouragement for your little ones. My daughter has been swimming there for just under 1 year and has made amazing progress!

My son went in Summer Crash course from August 30th to September 2nd 2022, at Bramley Baths, on the phone I explained to the lady the week before the course that he was in the stage 2, from one of recognise Leisure Centre, on Saturday the same week my son moved to stage 3 class, means that he doesn’t need to use armbands or float or noodles to swim. First day in Bramley Baths, the teacher gave him the noodles and he said no need, in the end of the lesson I talked to her and explained to the teacher but she told me let’s see how he going to progress to move to deep end. The second day the other teacher (man) gave again noodle to my son. Not sure as the teachers can’t see or they don’t know what they are going (that’s a shame). There were about 6 children all mixed in term of level/stage, my son was the one with more experience and two more boys, so everyone could see and some parents commented about that, but because he is black on the last day only two white kids were chosen to move to stage 3, they were not confident as my son was and in deep end you can't use noodles but they were using (my God!) this is too dangerous putting in risk those kids. And my son was classified unfairly with Dolphin 1 (very BAD classification), one of the parents in the reception was very disappointed that my son was wronged for being black, and she added that β€œyour son was doing very well”. Those particular teachers are racists and not professional. I paid the same money that the white parents paid. Next time, put on the leaflet, that β€œwe only need white people money” otherwise be fair with all children. On the following day my son went back to his swimming lesson in Leisure Centre and he was swimming in deep end. Remember, everything you sow you will reap it’s in the bible. Move this kind of paradigm that was created on your mind about black people; everyone going to die, don’t think that your body is eternal.
