“Last minute booking with family on a Christmas Day out, great time in the Fourth Samurai escape room and Spirit Jayna was a fab host! She explained all the rules clearly, was super friendly, supported our competition & more than happy to take plenty pictures for us afterwards!”

“Magic Matt was absolutely amazing at my son’s 5th party! Fully entertaining for not only the kids but all of us adults/parents also! Many funny magic tricks, and always ensuring our birthday boy was made to feel special and apart of the main tricks, and extremely engaging to all! Also extremely organised, with a wonderful background, own fab and magical equipment keeping everyone engaged, and what we also loved so much is how magic Matt gathered all the children at the end to sing happy birthday with the cake on his stand and then turned everyone around so we could get a wonderful group picture of our son and all of his friends! Absolutely fab!!! Additionally, when it was party food time, magic matt even got all the children in an orderly line and one by one allowed them to go choose and grab their own seat; it really was very orderly and organised and wonderful! Magic Matt is definitely every parents dream for an entertainer and magician!! Everyone who attended gave nothing but positive praises, he was a delight in every way and very friendly! “We had a great experience at Escapable in Wakefield with their "Outatime" escape room, based on Back to the Future. Our games master was Charlotte and she was really enthusiastic and gave subtle hints when we were stuck, absolutely fantastic! The entire adventure was brilliantly executed, featuring an impressive array of puzzles that kept our family of four engaged from start to finish. The rooms were thematically spot-on, capturing the essence of the films. It was the perfect blend of challenge and fun, making it an ideal choice for a family outing. Highly recommend it for a memorable and enjoyable adventure!”

“The best party entertainer. We used Joe for our son’s 6th birthday and the kids were entertained non stop for 2 hours. Their faces watching the magic tricks was so nice to see and I have had so many messages saying their children have gone home doing magic with their gift sets I purchased as party of the party bags. It was also great watching the parents get involved with the disco. 100% recommend.”

“My 4 year old absolutely loves The Little Gym and looks forward to her class each week! She loves all the teachers and they are really great with her. I really like that there is different focus/ theme each week and month. It’s great to be able to sit and watch the class - particularly when there is the 1 on 1 time at each station working on a different skill. The teachers really concentrate on technique and have the time and patience for them to attempt numerous times. They also congratulate and celebrate too which really helps their confidence. It’s also greatly appreciated when a teacher comes out to the parents at the end of the class to debrief. 100% recommend!”

“This was my first experience in an escape room and my team did the hotel heist and it was AMAZING. From the second we walked in the door we were treated so well by staff, they were friendly and kind and really helpful explaining how the process worked, the room itself was bloody amazing we all absolutely loved it, will defo be trying other rooms and would defo recommend this place! ( Also free parking. Huge bonus!!)”

“Had an amazing experience with friends, it was a challenging and stimulating game with innovative hidden clues! Fantastic fun for friends and would be great for family and couples too. The host gave a lovely welcoming and helped us out with little clues when we got a little stuck. Managed to escape in 56 mins and can’t wait to try the other rooms they’re developing. Would recommend to anyone in York to visit as its a great activity.”

“After viewing a good majority of local nurseries in the area we thought we were set on our initial choice. Until a few weeks before our little girl was due to start settling in, it became apparent that the Admin to enrol her hadn’t been done (despite us paying registration fees etc). Although at the time this seemed disastrous, as they could no longer offer our desired days, it was an utter blessing in disguise. I took to Facebook frantically asking friends for recommendations of anywhere we might have missed when we were doing our initial shortlisting and we received an overwhelming response of people telling us to visit Bumbles for a viewing. I gave them a call to arrange and the fact they told us we could just rock up, without any pre arranged booking, immediately showed us that they are confident they deliver ‘outstanding’ care whenever you arrive. We went the very same day and after we had looked around we knew this place was miles above anything we’d seen previously. I went from feeling nervous about going back to work to excited for our little girl to join this amazing setting. They seemed to have thought of everything to make the transition as easy as possible. She’s been at Bumbles now for almost 3 years and loves all of the staff so much. They really must handpick the cream of the crop as every single one of them are so attentive and caring and really invest so much into our little ones happiness and development at Nursery. I can’t praise them enough!”

“We came for my birthday and had a brilliant time! Ida and the Bookkeeper were fantastic and the rooms are so well themed and detailed. A really good range of puzzles ranging from relatively easy to challenging. Loved it and would definitely recommend !”

“My husband and I did the Gun Powder Plot room and completed it with 5 minutes to go. It was a lot of fun and not too challenging. We got some very tasty drinks from the bar before hand: definitely worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the seating area is clean and cozy, best described as a Steampunk Speakeasy.”

“It was wet(again). We had the grandkids. They needed to burn some energy. An ideal spot. Plenty of equipment but beware of other children. Some can be using parts which are too old for them.”

“Communication with parents is always excellent, and the activities are thoughtfully planned to encourage creativity, confidence, and independence. Both of my children have loved their time at Partou Acorns in Adel, and we’ve been going there for over four years now. The team absolutely deserves their Outstanding rating, it’s so well earned!”

“Mr Shuffles provided the entertainment for my daughter and her friend’s 5th birthday. Jason was so responsive during the booking process, it was so easy. He arrived early on the day for set up ahead of the arrival of guests. He kept the children and adults alike fully entertained! The kids were loving every minutes and the parents were so impressed with his hosting skills! Would definitely hire Jason again and would 100% recommend!”

“LGR has been a really positive place for my oldest daughter to go. It's not just childcare, but a space to grow and learn. The staff are extremely patient and caring towards the children and really help to make every day count in terms of learning and experiences. Their forest school has been a particular favourite to my homebody daughter, it's really increased her confidence and assisted in her learning and becoming ready for school. My youngest daughter will be starting LGR soon and i am excited to see how LGR enhances her learning journey too.”

“Lovely hotel, last visited 6 years ago and still as good as it was the last time. Great vibe and ambiance, my room - a Club - was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches like four Nespresso pods, fancy tea, nice biscuits and a couple of Ferraro Rochers. Beds incredibly comfortable, couldn’t hear any noise at all, and black out curtains kept out the light! It was my birthday stay and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for two free cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fab, environment was great - 10/10 all round for the stay and would def come back. Price/performance ratio excellent.”

“I had such a lovely experience at the Indian Tiffin Room in Leeds. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the place itself has such a vibrant, colourful vibe that really reminds you of India. The food was amazing — full of authentic flavours and perfectly cooked. Some dishes were a bit on the spicy side, but that just made it feel even more genuine. The portions were generous too, which was a nice bonus! Overall, it’s a fantastic spot if you’re craving real Indian street food in a lively, cheerful setting. I’d definitely recommend it — and if you go, make sure to try the masala dosa!”

“Brilliant to keep kids entertained for hours but closes a bit early there is a football pitch /basketball court, a park and a park for younger ones there is a ping pong table and an area to sit just outside the park there is a small body of water with ducks and stuff in”

“Visited today looking at prams. Charlie was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable, he spent the time to talk us through different prams including demonstrations. Nothing was too much trouble and he was conscious and thoughtful about our feelings as new parents that we may get overwhelmed. Truly a delight and you can tell he loves what he does. Thank you!”
