My daughter joined at the start of the year and is so happy here. All the staff, including the office manager, room leader have been amazing. She is a happy and confident there. She loves it and gets so excited to go every week. I highly recommend this nursery, best in York
Our family has been with Little Green Rascals for around four years - first with our daughter and now with our son - and we couldn't recommend it more highly. The staff are wonderful; so many long-term members who are exactly the kind of people you'd want to stay, and any new staff quickly feel like part of the family. The child-centred care is top-notch. Our daughter left confident and ready for school, and our son is thriving in Busy Bumblebees after starting in Wiggly Worms. The Forest School is brilliant, and both kids love the extra activities like Science Tots, Mini Kicks, Baby Band, and French. The food is fantastic, the facilities are excellent, and we've always felt our children were safe, happy, and valued. Nick in the car park and Karen on the front desk make every day that bit easier. Exactly what I need as a busy, often stressed, parent! A truly nurturing, inspiring place - thank you, LGR!
Kids have activities such as football (Kicx) Rugby tots, Baby Band and science talks. The kids are let to be themselves and play in the mud and be kids. Teachers are the best, we really love them.
LGR has been a really positive place for my oldest daughter to go. It's not just childcare, but a space to grow and learn. The staff are extremely patient and caring towards the children and really help to make every day count in terms of learning and experiences. Their forest school has been a particular favourite to my homebody daughter, it's really increased her confidence and assisted in her learning and becoming ready for school. My youngest daughter will be starting LGR soon and i am excited to see how LGR enhances her learning journey too.
Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road is such a special place. From the minute you walk through the door you are greeted by such warm, friendly and welcoming staff. The activities they have on offer throughout the day are wonderful and all learning opportunities are tailored to each child's individuals needs and age and stages of development. The food is wonderful organic, local sourced and home cooked. They had a lovely forest school area that groups of children visit on a daily basis and get so really different learning experiences from. Such a amazing place to be a child- I would really recommend this nursery.
Avoid this nursery! My son has been bitten/beaten on 8 seperate occasions. I feel the staff here are not suitably trained to look after children.
