   Escape room veteran here and this is one of the best places we’ve been! Just the right mixture of everything you could want in an escape room, the attention to detail is amazing and not to mention the staff! Our host Ellie was an absolute star. Highly recommend Rags to Riches, which is what we did. wish we lived in York as we’d be here every day !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Done the cemetery escape room. To be honest was lacking in a few elements: the emotional factor, puzzles were non-linear and so had no link between them. The theme was not scary at all. No introduction given, too dark honestly but not scary. I’ve been to much better and atmospheric rooms.

   Had a great time, the assistant was very friendly and did a wonderful job. Did have a bit of an issue with some of the last locks (someone had changed the codes and even the assistant couldn't get them open lol) but other than that, we escaped and would 100% go again.

   We did the boneyard cemetery escape room which was a lot of fun! We found it quite challenging but managed to escape with seconds to spare! Jake hosted us and he was an absolute delight, very witty and kept us on our toes. We’ll definitely be back to play a different room and Jake is a credit to the locked in franchise! Thanks Jake!!

   We did the ‘Rag to Riches’ game! It was brilliant! Host was great with prompts and unlike other escape rooms it was better with the display and tv prompts. Really fun and highly recommend!

   My wife and I did Boneyard Cemetery yesterday and we came back today with her parents and our 2 year old daughter to do Caught in the Act - both games were absolutely brilliant, puzzles were extremely satisfying and the staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating -can’t recommend this place strongly enough!

   Despite us being 15 minutes late (we got the time wrong!) the staff were more than helpful and friendly and helped us in straight away. We were a bit flustered due to being late and all, but we managed to solve the Rags to Riches room with some time to spare. Some of the riddles were very challenging and we had not experienced a few of the riddle types before, so that was quite fun. All in all, a great escape experience!

   Had an amazing experience with friends, it was a challenging and stimulating game with innovative hidden clues! Fantastic fun for friends and would be great for family and couples too. The host gave a lovely welcoming and helped us out with little clues when we got a little stuck. Managed to escape in 56 mins and can’t wait to try the other rooms they’re developing. Would recommend to anyone in York to visit as its a great activity.
