   Today we were visiting York Dale's tour with Trevor, our guide and driver. Everything was simply top-notch! The stories he told were captivating and revealed secrets of places no one else would have guessed (like the wood-carved mice on the benches in the old church). The guide had an answer to every question, even the most tricky, that suggests about his deep knowledge of Yorkshire history and his many years of experience. Also, the breathtaking views from the panoramic windows of the bus are truly remarkable. Sheep, cows, and the occasional bird were all self-appointed actors who performed their roles perfectly, on 10/10.

   What a fabulous day on the North York Moors and Whitby Tour. Our guide John had wonderful stories of the history and culture of Yorkshire all day, and he took us down tiny country lanes to out-of-the-way spots where others do not tread. Byland Abbey (with no one there but our little group) and the Anglo-Saxon church built in 1050 were highlights. I would definitely book another tour with Mountain Goat.

   We did the North Moors and Whitby Tour and it was lovely. Well-paced, beautiful locations, and Ben A., our guide, was splendid. He shared interesting historical information and funny anecdotes with us making the whole experience very memorable. Plus he showed all us all the scenic locations and shared excellent tips! I’d totally ask for him as a guide in our next tour!

   I enjoyed tours of the Dales and Moors, both tour leaders/drivers were good. The scenery and vegetation were very distinctive and I particularly liked Whitby Abbey and the bird show at Bolton Castle. Not knowing anything about All Creatures Great and Small or Heartland didn't detract from my enjoyment of the Dales tour.

   John was an amazing tour guide for our day trip to explore the Yorkshire Dales during the All Creatures Great and Small tour. He provided a lot of interesting and entertaining information throughout the day. This was definitely among the best tours I have ever taken. All of the stops were interesting. So glad we went on this tour with John!

   Decided on the North York Moors and Whitby tour from York. Great day out! We had beautiful weather. Comfortable minibus expertly driven by our guide 'Lee'. Who stayed cheerful all day and was very knowledgeable. He gave us a great and interesting running commentary. Really awesome guide. Thanks Mountain Goat for an amazing day, highly recommended.

   We joined a Mountain Goat tour in York. Matt was our tour leader and did a wonderful job of determining the preferences of the group and then accomodating our requests during the day. We did the North Yorkshire Moors tour and given we are avid Heartbeat fans Matt tailored the tour around this concept (including his rendition of the theme song). The coach was clean and in excellent condition. We highly recommend Mountain Goat tours for their professionalism and would book another tour next time we are in York.
