Fantastic place to visit, walking amongst the donkeys was amazing, such gentle little souls. The story of the Sanctuary was really interesting on the tour. We enjoyed it so much we decided to sponsor a donkey called Colin.

First visit today and we will be back. A very informative tour, showing great knowledge of all the donkeys. Sobering to hear some of the heart-breaking back stories, which made being able to support such vital work more rewarding. Donkeys were very well cared for and own personalities respected. Lovely to be able to interact with them too. Topped off with good coffee and cake at the onsite cafe. Definitely recommend.

Brilliant place. We went along in time for one of the two daily tours, and as part of that we got to learn about the awful lives some of the donkeys have endured before being rescued - some of the stories are really upsetting, but that's the reality of these animals lives and just highlights how important places like Wonky Donkey are. During the tour, we got taken into the fields to meet the donkeys up close, which was such a lovely experience - they're so friendly and affectionate. There's a great little cafe on site, and plenty of parking. All the staff were wonderful and keen to tell us about their work - will definitely be back

Enjoyed this place and clearly they do great work. Did pick up they aren't a registered charity which is always a concern but the donkeys and site are both brilliant. Staff knowledgeable and entertaining. Price was steep for a small local site. Β£12 for adult and one child. Gift shop small but some nice things .. whilst I appreciate they need the funding a lower price would encourage more frequent visits. I'd probably call in one or twice a month at a lower rate but taking the kids and my other half would be Β£24 and for a short walk and view of the donkeys that's a bit high. Overall great place though.

Awesome place and brilliant staff. Well worth a visit to offer support to a very worth while sanctuary. The heartbreaking stories you hear about the donkeys make you appreciate even more the effort the staff go to give the donkeys a loving and safe place to live out their lives, on the other hand it also makes you realise there are some cruel and horrible people in this world. We would be more than happy spending every day hanging out with amazing animals. There's a few goats who live there too that appear to be spend most of the time lounging on a trampoline, a couple of horses and a little cafe on site which is worth a visit. We will definitely be going back again, and I keep telling everyone I meet to go.

I visited with my brother, daughter and Grandchildren. We had a fantastic time. The staff are very knowledgable about all their donkeys. Their terrible backgrounds and everything that they need to live a long and happy life. Most of the donkeys have had or are still having rehabilitation therapy. Their past was horrific and not all their scars are physical ones. However you can see that the staff here have done and continue to do an amazing job with their charges. Their stables are clean and well kept. The donkeys are well groomed and live in family groups. We were able to get up close and stroke some of the donkeys. One of the donkeys, Murphy. He allowed us to cuddle him, pet him, even massage his ears. The whole experience was fantastic. Adults and children loved it the same. All their animals are given wonderful care. The goats even have their own Trampoline. There is a small gift shop, a cafe and an ice cream parlour. We will definitely be back for lots of visits.

Itβs so nice to be able to go to a sanctuary which is clean and has everything you need. The tour at 11:15 was heart wrenching but has totally opened my mind up. The lady who does the tour is probably one of the most inspirational mothers Iβve come across. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Lots of love to Minnie!

This is a lovely place. We had a great time with these beautiful creatures and the wonderful people who run this sanctuary. The owners clearly love and care for these gentle animals. We will be coming back again, soon.
